The Red Keep of Witch Isle was once majestic, when Old Lord Upcliff kept the peace. His house had grown small through the centuries, but the grand castle still remained, with naught to survey but itself, its gleaming towers piercing the horizon. Now, House Upcliff is a memory, but the castle remains, a rumored haven of bandits, wildlings, and worse. Word has it King Terrence has offered it to any man who can clear the great monolith, and restore sanity to its halls.
This campaign will require a minimum of two players other than myself. You CAN use your official characters if your characters are ty type to visit the middle of nowhere on their own. Otherwise, you may feel better making unique characters in THIS thread. I'm looking for adventurers, treasure seekers, down on their luck nobles, knights errant, folks who don't come equipped with large entourages.
Your task is to clear an ancient keep on a tiny isle, and bring it under the control of House Stark. Due to all the recent conflicts, the chaos in the Old North, and the isolated nature of the island, you are forced to rely on your wits, what resources you and your friends bring with yourselves, and the warm feeling of righteousness in your heart that your cause is (probably) just. You may expect wildlings of the mountain clan or Far North variety, outlaws of the most extreme sort, superstitious locals, and what is essentially a traditional dungeon-crawl as moderated by myself.

Don't see any reason Letho wouldn't take the job. Sounds fun.

Character's Name: Ser Cailan Ruttiger Character's Age: 29 (born 353) Character's Nationality: The Westerlands Character's Skills: --One Handed ---Swords 80 -Armor --Full Plate mail (50 points) --Shield (25 Points) Political: -Persuasion --Charm 45 Physical abilities ---Observation 50 --Athletics 70 ---Horsemanship 80 ---Unarmed combat 50 Character's Personal History: Born the third son of a third son, Cailan knew he'd never have much of an inheritance. Even his training gear was second hand, passed down from his siblings and cousins. As a young boy he was given to the Faith and sent to the sept at Lannisport but he dreamed of becoming a knight, not a septon, and spent all his free time fighting the other boys with wooden sticks, and often brawling as well. Yet he learned his lessons well in spite of that and soon memorised passages from the Seven Pointed Star. Later on he attracted the attention of Ser Logan, a member of the Warrior's Sons. Ser Logan took Cailan for his squire and trained him up to be a knight. Cailan was eager to please his new master and to become a member of the famous brotherhood. Knighted at seventeen, he has spent his entire adult life among his brethren or doing what he calls "the gods' work." He believes strongly that the Faith Militant should do justice and help the poor and needy. Even now, when the Faith Militant is all but gone, he refuses to abandon Westeros and instead spends his time as a knight-errant to pay his way, doing good deeds wherever possible. Cailan will never be a wealthy man because he frequently gives his spare coin to those more needy than himself, even if it means a hungry night.

Character's Name: Ser Leo Merryweather Character's Age: 38 Character's Nationality: The Reach Character's Skills: Fighting -Weapons --Two handed ---Swords- 85 --Lance- 80 -Armor --Full Plate mail- 50 Political: -Persuasion --Seduction- 75 Physical abilities --Athletics ---Horsemanship- 75 ---Swimming- 60 -Drinking- 15 Character's Personal History: A self indulgent asshole, Ser Leo is the third son of Lord Merryweather; since youth he had always been arrogant but his fair looks always favored him with the ladies. He spent most of his life gorging on his father's money, spending carelessly with his mistresses; this all came crashing down when he was caught in bed with his father's third wife. Exiled and penniless, Leo was obliged to to roam Westeros selling his sword or in search of tourneys. In the end, this was just the life he'd ever wanted, making corpses and getting the girls, the two things he had always been good at.

Forgot about this character I made for the dig. I think he'll fit well here. Final edit, should be good now Character Name: Myles Age: 36 Nationality: Norvoshi Character Skills: Fighting -Weapons --Two handed ---Axes- 80 -Armor --Full Plate mail (50 points) Political: -Persuasion - (100) --Seduction - 50 --Charm - 70 --Diplomacy - 50 --Intimidation - 70 Physical abilities ---Observation - 72 (+2 from finding tiny hole) --Athletics ---Horsemanship - 50 ---Unarmed combat - 50 -Drinking - 40 Languages --Valyrian ---Norvosian - 20 --Common Tongue - 20 Points used: 400 + 120 for age Character History: His story begins as an orphan boy running around on the streets of Norvos. He was much larger than most of the other children growing up so he was an easy pick for the Bearded Priests. He's been married to the ax since he was 10 years old. The ax burn mark forever on his chest. Once he passed his training, he became a guard in Norvos on his 14th name day, or what he thought was his name day anyway. Though still tall he did not grow to be as large as expected. The bearded priests beat him for it like it was his fault. Graduating training and becoming a guard was such relief for him as he now wasn't under the constant eye of the priests. He fared pretty well as a guard too. He moved over to the investigatory side of the duties when he was 16. He had a keen eye for noticing things and has always been good at talking with people whether he does it nicely or in a more aggressive way. Investigating took him down paths within the inner workings of Norvos. He had never truly liked the bearded priests, they had taken his freedom from him as a child and beat him senselessly throughout his training. His brain would not be washed by them though and through his digging he found tons of corruption within the order. Despite the disgust of the priests he still stayed and did as the bearded priests bid for eleven years. During his 25th year in this world, all of the corruption, and greed put him over the edge. He had enough of Norvos, of his life as a guard, and of his life under the bearded priests. He set out as a sellsword and did quite well for himself for many years. He still keeps to being married to his ax, which helps his worth as a sellsword. He never took a command role in any of the companies. He just wants to get paid so he can keep living his life away from Norvos. It wasn't long after the creation of the small company that he joined under the captain. He enjoys the traveling and seeing all the new places. Character Description:
Standing at 6' exactly, he didn't live up to how large the bearded priests thought when they found him as a very large for his age orphan. His arms are very muscular due to swinging his large two handed ax. He keeps a constant clean shaved face. He also keeps a bald head as he tries to keep as little hair as possible to stay far from looking like the bearded priests. He is almost always in his armor with his ax literally always with him. Reputation: He doesn't talk much about his past but anyone with any knowledge of Norvos know what he is. Never taking any important roles in sellsword companies has kept him under the radar though.
