"Maybe you should," he agreed. "But if you do choose Kalvin I will understand my dear. He has helped keep you safe, and even as a girl we knew," he laughed. "I do not think he is a bad man... I also do not think he is a particularly good man, but I suppose that is why he is as successful as he is." she said with a sigh, "Even though it is my choice, I do not want to go against your wishes or your advice... what do you know of Walter and Mychel?"

"Lord Walter is new but seems fair and strong. See Mychel has been to Eddards rest much of late. I rather like him; smart and knows how to deal with all sorts of people. My...friends tell me he is destined to be a good lord."

"why would it be a surprise?" she asked, "In our talk we outlined what we wanted from any potential marriage, he told me and I told him what he is likely to expect. I think he and I are more or less of one mind."

"Well, we can't know if I will until I have taken the plunge" She said, shaking her head. "Thank you, for your help, when I asked mother what she thought before, she was decidedly unhelpful..."

"I am sure she has," Robyn said with a strained smile, "I'd rather not trouble her now about it though."
