Tomas nodded. "Well, we need to get to the fuckers first," he said. "Then we can get them on land and make them salt wives," he added.

Lyonel grinned. "I look forward to bringing the bastards down. May it be soon. How do you want me to assist?"

"For now," he said. "We sit and smile and pretend we won't be ravaging the barbarians' lands to the dust it came from," he said. "When I call for you, you'll know what to unleash," he promised.

Koben approached the tent of the Goldlands Hand with a curious look. He'd always wondered if the rumors were true, and the man truly never relaxed nor stopped working. He went to peak his head inside, a question coming to mind as he did so.
"Excuse me, King's Hand. Might I have a moment of your time?" He asked as he looked into the tent, curious what was going on.

Lyonel was still with the Hand. " Korben!" He greeted his old comrade in arms with a smile and an outstretched hand.. " I was wondering if you were here."

Tomas waved him in. "See Korben," he said. "What is it, now?"

"For now," he said. "We sit and smile and pretend we won't be ravaging the barbarians' lands to the dust it came from," he said. "When I call for you, you'll know what to unleash," he promised. "And I will unleash it," replied Lyonel, just before Korben entered. After his greeting to Korben, he turned to Tomas. "We will need to discuss this further, when you have time."

Tomas nodded. "At length," he promised. "Judgment delayed is not judgment denied," he said.

Korben waited until the two were finished as he looked to Tomas, giving a bow. "All that talk of unleashing and judgement. Might it be against the Ironborn?" Korben asked with a curious look to him, "Cause I came here to ask about the Ironborn and the coast." He said, finding the coincidence funny.

"Everyone does," he said drily. "I should just write our strategy down and post it against the entrance ," he said with a trace of humor. "But please continue."

"My family are the Kennings, of Kayce. We used to be ironborn as well. If they attack our shores, we can likely expect no mercy, and be one of the firsts to pay." Korben said, his face solemn as he spoke.
"I want to know if there's a plan to defend ourselves. And what I can do to help."

Tomas nodded. "We cannot focus our defense in one particular spot, but if the North stops their little peace and love bullshit and can distract their Tyroshi fleet we have two major cities building ships," he said. "We won't need to defend forever. I've got two thousand cavalry deployed as a reaction force in the event of a major raid, but for smaller areas watch towers and signal fires are critical."
