A mammoth, semi-permanent thing, the royals' tent is set up with a command post in the front and four rooms in the rear, for privacy and ease of guarding.

Robyn did not much like being nestled away secluded from the men, for over two months she'd been pitching up tents along side theirs, sharing food and drink, and now it came to the end and she found herself apart. She sat in the room set side for her, the flap to the command section of the tent open, so she could see out. She was sat cross legged her bow sword across her knee as she sharpened it, her bow lay not far away, going to get some love later.

knights and warriors and lords filte rin and out from the command tent, and after a while Lord Walter looks inside. "Princess?" he says. "How have you been?"

By that time, Robyn had moved onto her bow, she could not sharpen it, but she was giving the wood a polish. it would do little to help, but it calmed her, which was good in itself.
'Lord Walter," Robyn greeted, smiling up at the man, "I cannot complain." She answered, setting her bow aside and standing for the Lord of the Vale, "I hope I find you well?"

"Oh, never better," he said. "nothing better than a war to destroy someone who truly deserves death, comradery and all that. Plus we have a dragon now. Can't lose a fight if you hae a dragon." He smiles at her. "How have you been?"

Robyn looked at him confused... "since you asked a few seconds ago, I fear I have not changed at all" she laughed softly, and grinned, "What if the other side also has a dragon? Then we may well lose... A lot of men will still die, all to kill one man..."

"Well, if Lord Bryce has a dragon that flies, we best use ours while we can," he said. "I doubt he'll hesitate to use it once the green one is gone." He smiles. "Killing shouldn't be fun, but if war wasn't so awful I think we should all be rather fond of it. The friends, the bonds..." he smells and wrinkles his nose. "I could do without the horse dung."

"Are you saying my tent smells of horse dung?" She asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"Whole camp does. Damn cavalry. Or maybe it is the wildlings, either way. I've smelled worse." He shrugs. "It's good to see you well. Were the wildlings difficult to corral?"

"Not particularly," Robyn shook her head, which still worried her, "Just needed turning in the right direction. Before turning south, we had a great feast, they certainly know how to have a good time." Her mind went back to that night, but she shook it from her head, without actually shaking it, she was thinking off it less now, it had been a while, it was mostly the skin changer part that gave her pause. "Did you take part in the first battle? With my brother?"

"I fear not," he said. "I was in charge of the King's Landing contingent," he shook his head. "I wish we had been here. Might have been enough men to have made the difference."

"Yes, that would have spared a lot more lives in the long run, but there is little point thinking on it now." her smiled dropped then, "We were in King's Landing just after it happened." the it was clear, "I will never forget it. I'd take the smell of horse dung for life over the smell there." Sometimes at night, she still woke up with a start, having seen King's Landing and the destruction there in her nightmares.

"I hope to never see anything like it again," Walter agreed. "Which is why the perpetrator must die." He thinks a moment. "when it is over, I'd be honored if you toured the Vale with me."

"you should be careful" Robyn said, thinking with sadness about Lord Corbray, "The last man who asked me such did not live to make good on it. I would not like that to happen again, I would be pleased to see the vale in peace, but I will not say yes or no, until we are standing here again, victorious. Fate is not something I want to tempt again, plans are for peace."

Lord Walter nods. "Well, princess," he says, smiling at her, "try to remember I asked first," he said with a wink.
