"Yes, beyond the wall. There is a sorcerer there that he wants to take care of and it may also allow me to deal with the skin changers, if they are up there, or at least find out more about them. They owe me some more blood. Savinia very helpfully indicated there could well be more of them," she explained, frowning when she remembered something Nick had said earlier. "there is no need to look so surprised,"

"It's wildling land," he mumbled, "And I'd have thought you'd have had your fill of fighting sorcerers for a few months, at least." He holds his forehead. "How many men are you taking with you?"

"There is a lot of Wildling land now, Kalvin, it will soon be difficult to avoid it" she retorted, "I am not going to sit around and wait for another one to attack us, we cannot passively sit here while they get stronger and stronger, as much as it would be nice to slow down, I am full of momentum, have to keep the wheel turning..." she looked back to him and frowns, more out of concern, "Is it your arm? Should I get some milk of the poppy?"

"No," he said. "I'm just worried about you." He closes his eyes. "And I don't trust the Night's Watch, either."

"Well they did let an army of wildlings through their gates." She said shaking her head, "which is... The opposite of what they should do. Or is there more than that? "

"Plenty more," he said. "But once you make up your mind I know there is no sense arguing." He rubbed his eyes, then kissed her.

Robyn kissed him back, putting a hand to the side of his face and stroking his cheek, "If there is more, you should tell me, as I am probably going to have to go through Castle Black to get to the other side. "

"The Lord Commander is Frederic Lannister," he said. "Me father was the reason he had to take the black. But I think it's a terrible idea to go north." He frowned.

"Why?" She asked, not frowning, "Someone has to?"

"Why? Let the bastard freeze." Kalvin looked at her. "You should come to Winterfell, and stay with me."

"You're not going to winterfell, you are going to to Oldtown. To save Arania." She pointed out, "If we let those who mean to hurt us stew, it will to be too late. I'll come back,it's not like I do not have incentive." She assured him and leant over to kiss him.

Kalvin looks more annoyed now than anything, and after they kiss he gets up. "We'll never come to an end of potential enemies," he said. "No one wants Oriax dead more than me, but if he ever came back south, he will face me and you and anyone else together, with all our power. If you and Nick go north, you face him alone and unaided and flatly, Nicholas is seriously underestimating just how powerful that bastard is. He nearly," he says with undisguised hate, "killed my son from half a sontinent away. What can he do up close?"

"So what would you have me do?" She asked, exasperated. "Sit and wait for him to consolidate his strength so we have another bryce Dayne?!" In fairness, she imagined the sorcerer had a better shot at killing Beric from a distance, with Kalvin as his up close father.

"Bryce had armies, and military skill," Kalvin said. "Oriax is a spineless pervert who can bend reality. ryce loved conflict. Oriax will seek to avoid it at all costs. With animals such as that, best to have him travel from his hole and then take his head." He looked out the window. "I feel our strength is best served destroying an enemy with more resources, more initiative, more heinous crimes. After I rebuild."

"And who might that be?" She asked raising an eyebrow, sitting up and looking over at him. Legs off the bed, not reaching the floor from how far back she was sitting.
