Two nights after King Rycherd leaves Summerhall, a shout goes up around his tent. His remaining Rainbow guards investigate and the click of crossbows and sounds of steel arise. Nine men can be seen rushing to the tent, apparently intent on killing the king and his men.
Post it up. No time to get into plate, but chain is a possibility if willing to skip round 1 fought outside the tent. The Rainbow guards passed an observation check to detect the ambush in time to fight back.

Kyle was fine with chain, and first tried to use the distraction of the guards being attacked to slip into the tent to attack richard with a crossbow, then swords. If he can't get past, the same just at one of the guards.
(Crossbow 60, swords 70)

Rycherd was an experienced soldier used to sleeping lightly when on campaign. His eyes snapped open at the noise and the shouts of alarm. By the Seven he thought...we're under attack! With one fluid action, he grabbed his sword which was by his sleeping pallet. He looked longingly at his suit of plate armor which he was accustomed to fighting in, but decided that a chain mail shirt would be quicker to don, which he did. His shield was in the corner and with a couple of swift strides he picked it up and ran his arm through the loopholes. He clapped on a pot bellied helm with a nasal protector. Not what he was used to, but it would have to do. Holding his shield to protect his torso and keeping his chin tucked in tight until only his eyes showed, he set his fighting stance facing the tent entrance, ready to burst through in support of what sounded like his Guard fighting.
He kept silent for the moment letting any would be attacker think he was still asleep.
First thing that comes through that opening dies, he silently vowed.
[Rycherd will attack any enemy that comes through the tent opening using surprise]

As there were only three of the Rainbow guards and nine of them, Arthur tried to slip past the main fight. Since the cat was out of the bag anyway, he quickly notched an arrow and shot it through the tent opening, figuring Tyrell had no doubt heard of the metal clinking outside and was most likely up and moving. After that, he swiftly drew his double daggers and attempted to follow Kyle into the tent.

"I told you it was a shit plan," Arthur managed through one last red grin before falling down. At least they'd ruined Tyrell's evening.

Rycherd touched his hand to his bleeding cheek and looked around the bloody scene. He clapped his hand on the shoulders of his remaining Rainbow Guard in appreciation.
"See if any live. I want to find out who sent them." he said.
