Clarence lifts up the broken leg and chews it. "Still better than the piss they serve here."

Ragnar raised an eyebrow. He was puzzled by Clarence's odd action. "let's leave here when we've finished our drinks," he said. "And seek an establishment where the patrons have the sense to move aside for their betters."

Uhtred grabs one of the mugs Killion bought, drains it, wipes his mouth "Aye, we need some entertainment. Something you can only get in the east. Any firedancers? Magic-types? Where's a place we can see that?"

"Farwynd, you have to be the first man in history to come to Lys and seek out parlor tricks before the brothels." Killion chuckled, flexing his bruised knuckles as he downed his ale. "How about you Blackwall? What's a man like yourself have an appetite for before a battle?"

"How about you Blackwall? What's a man like yourself have an appetite for before a battle?" "Hell Prince, I lived here for eight months. They've got their fancy sighs and pleasures, but it's all fucking in the end, and damn expensive when it comes to that if you want it without killing someone. You really gonna pay for a woman?"

Clarence shrugs. "You think these pink-bellied slobs are going to make a battle?"

"If the alternative is spending my coin on this piss they call ale." he remarked to Uhtred, with a wry smile. "If I'm to pay the gold price, better it be for a fond memory than a weak drink and full bladder."
"A battle in quantity rather quality I'm sure." he answered Blackwall. "Will just mean more ships to capture and more lands to claim. Going to get me a salt wife with blue hair and carpets that match the drapes."

Clarence shrugs. "I've heard of the diseases they catch here. My dick'll turn blue but not from dye, I hear."

"I would think that a man who has been inside Amelia Royce would fear no cunny." he quipped, wiping some ale from his lips. "More for me when we take Tyrosh then."

"Three years ago. Wasn't as stretched out then," he mumbled darkly. "surprised you managed to find your way out of that one."

"Aye, was truly a harrowing crucible." Killion laughed, slapping his hand against the ruined table. "Like sailing a dinghy down the middle of the Narrow Sea, with no land in sight on port or starboard."

Quentyn shoved his way through the tavern to his fellow captains' seats and former table. As it turned out, it was not difficult to find a gaggle of Ironborn in Lys.
"You sons of whores!" He cried upon reaching them, "I'm a few minutes late and you just roll on out without me?"

Uhtred shrugged and passed him a mug "Figured you'd catch up man! You're here aren't you?"

Quentyn grabbed the mug and took a big swig before answering. "Now, sure. After having to question every whore and beggar in Lys about which direction the barbaric bearded men went." He glanced at Freya. "And one barbaric bearded woman. Not so easy when I don't speak Lyseni and they don't speak Westerosi."

Uhtred laughed "Your pantomiming skills must be legendary indeed. How many did you leave unconscious before you got on our trail?"
