Korben had been in attendance of this meeting, keeping silent with his arms crossed as he listened to Ser Farman give the terms Rycherd Tyrell desired to give to see the war ended. He'd internally scoffed at the initial offer, though talk of trouble brewing from the dornishmen's march north, and from overseas as well, struck a cord with the man.
Still he worked to keep his place, even as it required he bite his tongue, and itched for a chance to say what he thought of the proposal. His king's offer was fair, more then that, considering Tyrell had not demonstrated an ability to keep his own lands safe from them. How could he demand the westerlands essentially surrender to him, with nothing to show for it but the return of an ally who could very well stab them in the back, again.
"How about your lord start worrying about Dayne as well, instead of throwing his name out to scare everyone?" Korben commented as he threw out a one-eyed glare to the fair islander, really the only kind of glare he could throw out, "It's not like Dorne doesn't have a reason to invade like they did the kingslands. The benefit to the reach can be they get an ally to fight with, instead of fight against." He said, the proposal seeming fair enough given how much closer the reach was to dorne compared to the northern half of the goldlands.

Harys threw a glance towards the one eyed man, whom he didn't know.
"Why do you think I am here? King Rycherd recognises the danger, to him and to all of us. You know his ability to lead armies. He may have lost the clash at Kings Landing, but it may have been very different had the heretic Aaron Baratheon not aided the Stark Prince. His abilities to lead men are unimpaired and his forces grow once again."
He shrugged his shoulders again. "King Rycherd is willing to talk terms but that does not involve abject surrender."

Jaymes had looked unamused throughout the whole exchange. The Reachmen and their arrogance. "Then there are no more terms to talk, Ser Harys. You have heard the king - either Tyrell bends the knee or he burns as well these walls," he said, pointing at the blackened castle behind him, "The king does not need to repeat himself."

Harys turned to King Brynden. "Are your terms final, my lord? If they are, I shall convey those terms to my liege."

"Ser Tomas, Lord Jaymes. Commence the bombardment." Brynden said, a final flush of anger. "Why this man thinks he can revolt and not suffer the costs of failure is beyond my comprehension. And he forgets; he is at war with Bryce Dayne. At the moment, I am not." He turns to Ser Korben. "Ser Korben, see our guest out and then prepare for battle."
The western general grins and barks out an order. A red line of men can be seen approaching from the north. With the rushing of missiles beginning, the siege begins properly.

Harys bowed and saw himself out. He and his small party of attendants rode eastwards.

Round 1:
Tomas (+10 for troops): 212 (100) Cuy (+58 for fort and troops:): 189
West wins a battle roll, whi h means a wall is breached (-15 to fortification bonus).
The Western army is furious after the siege and as the trebuchets crash into the fort, the first wall cracks. Western knights rush in to the gap and the fight is on. They kill hundreds of defenders, and while there are second and third walls, they are by simple restraints of time nowhere near as effective as the first and primary line. Lord Cuy manages the defense skillfully but heis men do not have the white hot rage of the lions.
West: 31,000 men Reach: 3,000 men
Weapons rolled next round.
