"One doesn't need ships to destroy them," Vhagus said, looking at his dragon. "And Volantis's armies are vast. Sooner or alter they will come west, whether for you or Pentos or anyone else." The dragon lifts off, this time hopping off the cliff and not opening its wings for four terrifying seconds before it rises into the sky. Robyn can see, far on the eastern horizon, the strange line of the sun breaking over the sky.

Robyn grinned after the dragon righted itself from the drop, "And you do not?" She asked looking round at him briefly, before returning her look to the horizon, not wanting to miss it.

At tat, Drogon unleashes a gout of flame three hundred feet long. Daybreaks over the land, quickly illuminating the mountains. "Volants will fall in its time. As will all who oppose me," he said simply.

Ooc: I meant to ask him if he would not, as in go west.
Robyn looked as the fire illuminated the mountains before the sun broke. She'd have a made a comment on how beautiful it was, but she didn't think she'd do it justice. "In westeros the people think you want to rule the world"

Vhagus arched an eyebrow at her. "I do," he said simply. "But it's hardly an achievable goal. Too much land, too many people, too much distance. Even Drogon here cannot let me be everywhere at once. But I want to change how the world is," he said. "Change the petty wars, the tens of thousands of useless deaths in wars fought for whim. In my lands, violence is answered with Drogon and justice, not swept under a rug. I do not offer pardons for warfare against me once my enemies have submitted. I offer my law and protection, and resistance to that is answred with the peace of oblivion."

Robyn did not believe he was acting completely altruistically, but smiled anyway, still looking at the rising sun, "In a way, your vision sounds rather nice, you almost sound like the Starks of old, uncompromising, Just. People will always fight, so long as one person has something the other wants." she paused for a moment as she though, she wondered why he wanted that world, most people had reasons for their world views. She thought of her family, of the kind of rulers they were. "I think we would make good friends"

"Do you, now?" Vhagus's dragon swirls as the sun comes completely above the horizon. "Interesting." The dragon sails at nearly unimaginable speeds towards the port city. "And what would you like us to do, as friends?" he said with a smile.

Robyn was surprised they could have a proper conversation, with wind like this.
"What do all good friends do?" She asked him rhetorically, with a smile, "Aid one another." She said simply,

"I distrust friendshp based on words alone. Your brother married his chief rival's sister, and sent your own sister to be a queen," he said. "Are they not friends since then?"

"I never said it would be just words," Robyn said, looking over her shoulder at him, "If you want an alliance via marriage, like the Lannisters have, say who you want. You seem to know a lot more about my family than I do about yours. I have a younger brother, aunts," She thought about Lord Fillmore for a moment then forced him from her mind "I am unmarried also."

"And that surprises me, I admit," he says. "Young and lovely and from a powerful family." He raises an eyebrow. "Deadly with a blade and bow, as well." He thinks. "Sadly, my only relatives are a pair of twin cousins, at least friendly ones. And, well, your brother already has a child with one of them. It'd be insulting to offer her to your brother." Vhagus looks her over from behind while they ride. "We can discuss this matter when we have both slept. I would not hav you think I bewitched you with dragons and lack of sleep." Or, presumably, actual sorcery.

"I suppose a lot of men in Westeros are put off by a woman who could best them in a fight," She said with a wolfish grin, then shook her head, "I am my father's youngest daughter, as you already said, all of my brothers and sisters have married for alliances, there you're not selling the princess, you're selling the family, older is better." She shrugged, She knew about her brothers bastard, so was not surprised when it was mentioned, not that she knew anything about it,
"It would take more than lack of sleep and a dragon to bewitch me, I assure you," it would presumably take actual sorcery, "I am going in front of the Magisters at noon, I hope to have an answer from you before then"

"Of course I wouldn't turn down an alliance with House Stark," he said. "I have great reverence for a proud tradition. I hope to celebrate our...friendship soon enough." He winks at her as he says it.

"May it be mutually gratifying for us both," she replied, smirking at the wink, and looking back at the approaching city. Had she really just made an alliance with a blood thirsty sorcerer? Her father was going to kill her.

"Gratifying will not be an issue," he promises. The dragon lands, and Emperor Vhagus leaves for a nap. Even sorcerers sleep.
