The prisoners are questioned as to how far away they are and who is in command.

The prisoners say that there are at least fifteen thousand men, fresh off a siege of Oakheart, and it s beleived King Brynden himself is in charge of the host. Tactical control is probably someone different, of course.

One corsair is sent north along the coast to find the army and figure out how long they'll be. Quentyn, leaving a skeleton crew on his other ships (anchored, not beached), leads the rest of his men to shore to raid further inland. They'll take what they can carry and burn anything else that might be of use to a marching army, be it food, shelter, or other supplies. At the first sign of the army approaching, they retreat to their ships.
Naval Scouting: 52 Land Raiding: 70 (50+20 due to ability and previous naval raiding roll)

Raiding: 131
The plunder is good, and the scout ship reports the western host is two days ride away, though outriders are closing in. Quentyn picks up food and thralls in reasonable quantity.

They set sail once more, moving northwest. Most of the fleet stays out of sight of land, only one corsair (flying no flag) scouting close enough to spot the enemy army. They make for Old Oak.

Once the ships get turned around, the fleet makes its way back down the river, taking advantage of the current in addition to their oars. The men of the Reach cheer as the raiders turn their tail and flee. Ser Harys nodded grimly at the captain of the flagship. Another different signal is blown, signalling the return of the men and the boats to Highgarden. Scouts are sent downriver along the banks along the bank to keep an eye on the location of the Ironborn. Ser Harys was certain they would be back. He took a small comfort in the fact that by the time they did return, the forces at his disposal would be significantly more.
