"Where's Ghost? Call the puppy!" had me in stitches.

It really is. He shows up to save Sam from having his ass kicked but not to save Jon from getting shanked?

I feel like Ghost can sense when someone feels threatened, but basically that attack came out of nowhere. And even if he showed up, a direwolf isn't killing fifteen guys ready for some Ides of March.
Also...Season 6. Sam and Randyll versus Eurarian. I'm ready.

I just read that. Interesting. Not sure I agree 100% but it was cool. But Erik...we all know you want Ironborn VS Randyll. Join the team!

grrm.livejournal.com/428790.html?thread=21723638#t21723638Look what I found. Scroll down to the first comment, in which someone asks a rather long question about the nature of the Night King character in the show, and how he relates to the Night's King legend. GRRM's response: "As for the Night's King (the form I prefer), in the books he is a legendary figure, akin to Lann the Clever and Brandon the Builder, and no more likely to have survived to the present day than they have." I thought it was pretty interesting.

Tower of Joy flashback all butconfirmed for next season!!!
Casting call for "A man in his thirties or forties who is a great swordsman and a paragon of knighthood. He carries a hugely famous sword on his back. The show is seeking a very impressive swordsman for the role — the best in Europe, for a week of filming fight scenes for a season 6 role. His ethnicity/race isn't specified, unlike many other roles."
If that's not Arthur Dayne I'll eat Brad's hat.

am I the only one who doesn't want the Dayne to actually be white?

Well wouldn't he logically be if the Dayne's traditionally have Valyrian features?
I'm far more excited for Oswell Whent.

I keep missing where it ever said they look like Valyrians. I thought they just had purple eyes. I've always found it more likely Dawn is made up of whatever the Other's blades are, from the description in the prologue of book 1

According to the wiki: "Unlike the rest of the more Rhoynish-looking Dornishmen, they have pale skin with hair ranging from dark brown to pale blond and they often have violet eyes."
As for the Others, their swords are said in the books to resemble crystal or ice, whereas Dawn is made of metal from a meteor. Not sure where you're drawing a connection there.

Just haven't read it in a bit. Swore i remebered the other's blades being called "milk-white" before. But nope.

Sounds like it could just as easily be Randyll Tarly to me.
