"Vhagus Blackfyre, against Volantis, which means against Bryce Dayne" Robyn said, "The man who had Meera wanted me to kill the man who supported the alliance, as he wished to ally with Dayne, but I thought it best they ally with someone who is not as great an enemy now, and Nick, Isabel Ella, Larrance and I all went to save Meera so she could not be used to force our hand. We got their just in time, Blackfyre had already heard of the betrayal, and burnt the place to the ground as we were there. We only just made it out."
She shivered slightly, remember seeing Drogon rising up in front of her, about to send her to a fiery end, before his master stopped him.

At the mention of Vhagus Blackfyre Benjen frowned deeply, the information his sister told him only making him more concerned. "Well... it always comes back down to Vhagus Blackfyre. But you acted in the right way, Robyn, and I am proud of you. Gods damn it."
He tapped his fingers on a table for a moment before studying his sister. "I must tell you something. At King's Landing... Lord Fillmore was killed. In battle."

Robyn ws about to tell Benjen about Vhagus sparing her life, when she heard his second statement.
She felt as if the wind had been knocked out of her... her stomach was more than on the floor. It couldn't be true. He could not have been killed. She shook her head slightly. Benjen wouldn't be cruel and say it if it was not true.
"How unfortunate," she said looking down, "He was a good man."

Benjen looked at his sister, wondering whether her words reflected her emotions. He had not known exactly how close the two of them were but he hoped the news was not too much of a blow.
"He was, as was Everett Blackwood, who was taken as well. Lord Grisander Bolton, Lord Karstark." He shook his head. "We will honour the dead by carrying on our fight against those who oppose us."
He forced a smile onto his face. "But let us not think of such things now. I am happy you are back, sister."

Robyn did not look at him, but made the corners of her mouth turn up slightly, if she looked at Benjen she could not be sure she would not cry, She had not cried since she was very young, she did not remember what it was for. "so many lost..." she said shaking her head.
"I am glad to be back, glad Meera is home. At least she is not with Dayne now, far away from him."
She looked as if something had just occurred to her, and her eyes found her brothers again, "How are you faring? Losing so many? Are you alright?"

"I wasn't sure I would be alright for a while," Benjen said, faintly nodding his head. He pulled out a flask of whiskey and had a small swig before handing it to Robyn. "After King's Landing I just felt empty, everything seemed pointless. The ride back to Eddard's Rest I cannot even remember. But I've been getting better... Rickon and Eddard and Joanna have helped me feel normal again. Or as normal as can be."

"Must be nice, to have a family of your own like that," Robyn said, though the idea still did not appeal to her at all. Children were awful. And now the idea was positively abhorrent,
She took the whiskey and took a long drink. Alcoholism would be make everything feel better. "what will you do now?"

"That depends on the movements on our enemies," Benjen responded with a slight shrug. "We will have to react to them now, as it's too difficult to go ahead with any of our own plans in this chaos. We will hopefully have some more troops soon thanks to Joanna, and I will be rejoining the host at Antlers. If you wish you can come with me."
He chuckled. "The Crowl is going North. Beyond the Wall."

"Of course, I can't stay here and wait, and besides, it will take my mind of things." She said and then frowned, "Why is he going there? at a time such as this?"

Benjen nodded, taking the flask back and having another swig. "It may be he can find us some more allies; unconventional ones, true, but they could be of great use. The Free Folk have many men and are skilled fighters at that. There are also rumoured to be Giants and Mammoths that fight for them."

"They're also a disorganised rabble. Is he going to go to every village to drum up support?" She asked looking incredulous, "And I thought my idea was foolish"

"Not so disorganized as thought before," Benjen responded. "They have a Queen apparently, so maybe Crowl will be able to turn his old charm on." He chuckled.

"He has charm?" She asked raising an eyebrow, "Perhaps this queen will welcome a bow made of human leg bones.."

Benjen laughed. "We can only hope. There's trouble in the Neck as well, and I've called for Durand Coldwater to deal with Malik Greyjoy and his raiders. Time to take the Flint Cliffs and Cape Kraken back from those bastard reavers."

"Perhaps I should go and join then," Robyn suggested, "I have more experience dealing with the Ironborn scum" her words always harsh when speaking of the fucking ironborn.
