"Sure," she says. She looks out. "Does a bear count?"

"Can you see a bear?" She asked, looking to the window, "does anyone know about this place, did Nicky say how the magic worked?"

"Yea, I see a bear!" she said excitedly. "Right there! Nicky never told anyone. Not even the pretty lady."

Robyn smiled at her story, assuming pretty lady was Joanna, "remember, three knocks, even if t another bear,"
Robyn keely down under the bad again, and reached for the wrapped up,object.

She picks it up. It's a sword of some type, for sure. Unwrapping it reveals the ugliest sword she's ever seen. It is smoke grey but looks stitched together, as though a hard blow could shatter it. It is light but not particularly well balanced, and sharp but not to the extent Valyrian Steel usually is. The handle is a woman made of gold, some sort of statue turned into a hilt.

Robyn looked unimpressed by the sword, she even considered putting it back. She wondered how one could go about testing for magic repelling qualities. As she held the sword it felt wrong, as she was likely clutching her new sister in law.
She re wrapped up the sword, and had another look under, it would be really embarrassing if she left, with a ruse sword,.

There is nothing else in the floorboards. The statue in her brother's defense, does look much older than the rest of the sword.

Robyn was not convinced, but let the matter go.
She returned the floorboard to it's place, with the sword resting just above it.
"How is playing lookout going?" She asked nelly, looking at her from over the top of the bed to see if she was still keeping a look out, "Any more bears?"

"It's getting boring. Not a very fun game. Only one bear," she said. "Nicky said one day someone would come take the spell away. Will we still be safe?"

"I am sorry about that, but I am done now."
Robyn was now at an impasse... does she tell a lie to a small child, or does she... tell a different lie to a small child. She was not one for lying, it wasn't really in her nature.
"I feel confident the place will be as safe as it has ever been, with the magic gone." Robyn said and looked to Nelly, "We are friends now, are we not?"

"Of course!" She chirps. "That is a funny sword. Do you like swords? I don't get to use them. Daddy says we're too poor for swords."

"I'm not really much of a sword person, myself, I use this," She took out her short blade an inch from it's sheath, she didn't want to pull it all the way out and be threatening. "And this," she showed the girl her bow, over her shoulder. "full sized swords are a little bit too heavy for me." this one did not seem particularly so.
She paused, and smiled at Nelly, "Can I ask you a favour, seeing as you don't need swords? My brother really really needs a new one, I found this one here, would I be able to give it to him?"

She thinks and nods. "Yep. It is Nicky's anyway." She smiled prettily. "You look like him."

Robyn smiled brightly at the young girl, "Thank you!" she said happily and stood up, tying the sword in it's cloth to her belt on a around the hilt, aware she was now... strangling Joanna, "This Nicky must be a handsome man indeed. Does this place only have one exit? I would like to be prepared in case I ever need to use it."

"You could jump through a window," she says. "You should give him his box back, too." She points to a corner.
