"He had wings, and talons, and fangs, and he swashed through a ceiling," Amelia explained. "He used to be a man named Elias Bolton but I don't think he knew that anymore by the end of his transformation." Her eyes narrowed on the Greyjoy Prince and she smiled dangerously. "You should've stayed on your island, Prince Killion. There's far worse yet to come."

He opened his mouth for some sarcastic quip about whether it was accompanied by an army of grumpkins, but bit his tongue when he saw she was serious.
"I try not to worry much about the future." he admitted, countering her dangerous smile with a cocksure grin. "If I face a man tomorrow, so be it. If it be a demon...well...one must learn to adapt."

"Indeed," Amelia responded, rising from where she was sat and ordering some servants to fill her tub with hot water. "So, are you still intent on joining a lady for a bath?" She asked, looking at Killian with a masked expression.

"If the lady has changed her mind." Killion replied with a smirk, turning his grey-blue eyes from the flames, happy for the potential diversion from...you know...questioning everything he thought he knew. "I do owe you a demonstration now. I am as talented in the water as you are with the flames."

"Well you can wait beside my tub and demonstrate to me how well you scrub a back, if you want," Amelia offered with a grin, pouring a glass of Arbor Gold and indicating for Killion to pour himself a drink if he wanted.

"Do they not teach girls in the Vale that is it unwise to bait a kraken?" he asked, with a dangerous smile of his own, but no true menace.
Much as he enjoyed Arbor Gold, especially in irony after being unwisely fostered there, he stuck to his rum.

"I clearly wasn't listening, or maybe ever since the dragon riding sorcerer I don't care anymore," Amelia quipped, drinking deep from her wine. "So how many saltwives do you have?"

"Five? Six?" he guessed, suddenly realizing that was something he should know. "I am rarely home enough to count them."

"Those lucky girls," Amelia responded with a laugh. "So do they allow Salt Husbands in the islands? I was never sure."

"That would make the matter of judging paternity problematic to say the least." he chuckled, "Ironman's Bay would be red with blood over the disputes."

"And here I thought you Ironmen loved rivers of blood," Amelia retorted, an unimpressed look on her face. Her bathtub had been filled by now and she got up, getting behind a screen to disrobed before entering her tub. Only then would Killion be allowed to enter the bath room.

"The blood of greenlanders, not of our kin." he clarified, taking a seat on the edge of the tub with an glance at what lay beneath its waters, before bringing the skin of rum to his lips once more. "So where did a girl from the Vale learn such tricks?"

There was plenty of foam, but some parts of her were still visible. "If you called them tricks in front of the man I learned from he would probably perform a ritual that would make your guts turn into snakes and eat you from the inside out," She said with a small laugh. "The last I saw of him was at Moat Cailin. He was a cold man."

"Not the kind of man it seems wise to not know the location of." he remarked, putting his hand on his stomach at the thought, arousal suddenly battling revulsion.

"I believe he intended to go far beyond the Wall," Amelia explained, wetting her hair. "If so then he is either dead or an Other now."
