About eight men chase her down. Due to the transient nature of the camp, no one has any real idea where to go, save to follow the running assassin.
Dice: Agility: 70
8 NPC agility.
Round 1:
Dice: 151 Men: Highest total: 134
Dice speeds through the cmap in a zig zag pattern, overturning cook fires and making a scene for the moment. The men chasing her are bellowing and more people start to pay attention. She makes good time, though, and is tougher to spot.
Round 2: Dice: 149 Men: 141
The speedy woman cannot shake the horde of soldiers, but they are too drunk and disorganized to put all their effort into forming some sort of plan to corral her.
Round 3: Dice: 169 Men: 136
Finally, Dice takes advantage of smoke coming from the scene of the monster fight to take some good cover about a half mile away from the start of the run. The men lose a bit of interest in the pursuit upon seeing the spear-filled corpse of an actual demon. For now Dice is concealed. After a few minutes she hears a man shout, "Got the witch!" and a dozen men are dragging Krista to Lord Kalvin's tower. The men cheer drunkenly at their success.

Amelia lets herself be escorted to Lord Stark's tower as well.

Lord Kalvin looks annoyed at his sleep being disrupted. He yawns and sees Amelia, then his expression changes. "What the hell happened to you?" He turns to the other woman.

"Her and her companion," Amelia replied with a small curtsy. "An old friend of mine named Frederic Dustin asked me to come to his tent, where I was ambushed by the two women." She frowns. "He said something about giving me back to the Seven. They bound me, cut my hair and were going to cart me away from the host. I believe their eventual goal was to kill me and Oriax."

Krista is silent as Kalvin thinks a moment. "The Seven, hm? I can't fault you for wanting to kill Oriax. I have been tempted to myself on occasion." He points to his men. "Take her to the cages. We'll kill her in the morning. Jonas, interrogate her." A small, weaselly looking man nods and they lead the silent woman off. "You said something about a companion?" He looks about. "Find the second woman. I don't need her alive." He motions to Amelia. "Come upstairs. We should talk."

Dice remember the woman say "I'm quick enough" back in Summerhall. Apparently not. She should have pushed the issue of working alone to the High Marshall, now she had to live with this failure and the death of her companion. She wasted her bolts on that demon, pissed off without her then ended up getting captured anyway when they should have held the line together. Dice squeezed her hand as she hid, furious and frustrated at it all. The shame of running away gnawed at her, she should have fought the men! At least show them some of their own blood. Poor Krista was gonna be raped and sucked of her blood by these beast men, probably to fuel some new demon thing. The thought of a rescue operation was a brief one and self preservation won over for the moment. Dice plotted her next moves through the camp trying to get a mental picture of the places they had been. She took stock of what she had. She was missing some vials from the ad hoc escape and a few bolts had came loose but she had most of the belongings in her robe and strapped to her securely for just the sort of occasion she had just escaped from. When the coast was a bit clearer she would move.

Amelia nodded and followed Kal Stark upstairs, waiting for him to speak when they arrived.

Oriax noted the fire with little interest, before remembering Harrys Snow's penchant for starting them. He made his way over for a closer look at the commotion, motioning Malix to follow.

Kal's room is sparely appointed, his greatsword and suit of armor in one corner, a few books and quill and ink in another, some chairs and his bed. He pours a glass of whiskey and drains it, then waves at his drink selection to Amelia. "Why are you with that sorcerer?"

Oriax and Malix see a giant dead beast surrounded by soldiers. It looks like a lizard lion mixed with some form of ape from Sothoryos. Oriax has never seen anything specifically like it. "Took eight men down with it," he hears a man say to another. "And about fifty crossbow bolts and spears besides!"

Concealment: 144
For now, Dice uses the camp confusion to blend in without much trouble. With the cold, everyone is wearing warm clothes and thick cloaks, making even women difficult to notice specifically unless the hood is pulled back.

Amelia pours herself a glass of wine and drinks from it before sighing. "I didn't want to go along with him. Truth be told I don't want anything more to do with sorcery unless it's absolutely necessary..."
She drank again and but her glass down. "He requested Prince Benjen let me come with him and he agreed."

Kalvin makes a noncommittal noise in his throat. "Do you think this sorcerer has some sort of undue influence on Prince Benjen?" he taps his fingers against each other. "These wizards seem to be everywhere, now."

If Dice could pilfer some furs or other clothing she would try to do so, but carefully and without causing too much commotion. If she can look more Northernish she'll try to blend in more rather than creep about. She'll take a moment to have her crossbow set up as well. Finding the man that helped her crossed her mind, but she felt overwhelmed and going back to the tent was suicidal. For once she said a prayer to the Seven for help. She kept an eye out for tents that were possibly a bit more isolated or in darkness so she could potentially kill the occupant and stay in it for the night. Her other option was to keep moving to find the edge of the camp though she'd have to contend with scouts that protected the flanks who were more alert.

Many tents are empty with all the commotion, so finding good thick furs is easy. Killing a soldier in his tent seems unlikely, as most of them have several men in them for space considerations. Also makes it easier to pack.

"These wizards seem to be everywhere, now." Amelia considered for a moment then nodded. "Prince Benjen doesn't like the man but I think he feels he doesn't have a choice but to use what the man has to offer." She drinks. "Ultimately I believe Oriax is out for no one but himself."
