A few young men go with him, and his ever-irritating sister. "Let's see how the hero hunts," she says with a grin.

Karyl merely smiles at her before leaning down to study the ground infront of him for tracks, "I was always the fighter lil' sis, you of all people should know that." He tells her.

The rocky ground makes tracks rare, the strong winds even more so. The snow seldom sits for long. The unicorns would be far inland if they are to be found.

After about five hours, they see a few tracks, heading into the rocky and treacherous hills of the central island.

The cold winds blow as they cross over the rugged ground. After a few hours, they see one of the giant goat unicorns in the distance.

Karyl tries to find which way the wind is coming from and tries to position the group downwind of the beast so that the unicorn does not catch their scent, He also motions for those with him to be silent.

Cover is sparse on the rocky ground, and the wind is to their faces so the goat will have a difficult time smelling them, but their eyesight is fair, particularly to movement.

Ever so cautiously, Karyl Crowl takes a nice juicy steak out of his bag and holding it out infront of him towards the Unicorn takes a step forward to see how it reacts.

The frozen block of meat is too far away for the unicorn to notice. Another couple smaller unicorns are also in sight. They are notoriously annoying to catch, and even worse to tame.

The Crowl continues his slow advance towards the unicorn after every step waiting a couple seconds to see if it reacts before taking another step.

He gets to within fifty yards of the unicorn before it looks up at him and takes off. Clearly another method of hunting one down will need t be found.

Karyl scratches his head and follows the direction that the unicorn had left in. He tries to think of another method that he could try to catch the thing.
