"I think...I'll make a statue of myself out of them all," he chuckled. "I honestly cannot say I have any good ideas right at this moment. For the gold, anyway," he kissed her.

"The most conceited man in the world," she said with a smile, kissing him back. "What's on your mind, then?"

"To be completely honest...I'm still a bit stuck on the gold." He grinned at her. "I hope it's found your approval, Winterfell. It's...a far cry from the south, I'm sure. And it's certainly not Meereen."

"Don't be silly. You know I'd rather be here than in Meereen." She laughed. "Anyway, Winterfell is beautiful, if isolated, and warm enough, indoors. Don't worry about me. I'm adaptable."

"Of course you would." He grinned again. "I'm here." He twirled her about and kissed her again. "I can't wait to get married, actually...Lady Stark."

She giggled as he spun her about. "Have I managed to tame the wolf of Winterfell?" She wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her cheek against his shoulder. "It seems like a hundred years since Masons Keep, doesn't it? Im ready for the next hundred."

"It was quite a year," Kalvin admitted. "I could do with a few less fights with blood giants, all told. Although, with how the Prince seems to attract trouble, you just never know, I suppose."

"Well now that Cassadar is gone and Meraxes put to rest again, I think you have a good chance of never seeing a blood giant again. Unless you care to visit Harrys Snow again, or our dear friend Lord Bryce Dayne." She looked somewhat worried. "Benjen won't be going after him, will he? The north is allied with the Dornish, after all...and it wouldn't do to attack Starfall unprovoked, even knowing what we know."

Rickon chuckled. "Traitors are never too interesting; the rapscallion is too busy trying to feed his hordes to fight, according to the Frozen Lion." "Makes sense; and with winter here now it'll make it even harder for him," Benjen said. "Any other problems up here?"

Rickon chuckles. "Never any problems up here while I'm drawing breath. Even fear of someone can become a habit if it lingers long enough. Mine has lingered for over six decades," he said.
//
Kalvin shrugged. "Harrys...well, I reckon he'll find Ice separating his head from his shoulders one day in the future. There's no predicting what the Prince will do. He's changed much since I taught him about war."

"He's changed since the first time I met him, even. Everyone has." She looked distant for a moment, trying not to think about Maidenpool. She smiled, though, and kissed Kalvin again. "But we shouldn't worry about such things, at least not for now."

"Fear of you, I'm hoping," Benjen said, grinning. "Though I do have to warn you of something. On the Isle of Faces... Cassadar attempted a ritual that necessitated a lot of weirwoods. Especially their sap. So if anyone would try it again they would need to come North."

Kalvin shrugs. "I wasn't worrying at all. So," he says, changing the subject, "after the wedding, whatever shall we do?"
//
Rickon shrugs. "Got my sword back, I got the strength to off a few more heads."

Benjen grinned. "May you live another twenty years. For now I'm going to retire; it's been a long and tiring journey through the cold."
