"I know everyone worth knowing," he notes. "It's my job. And women as..unique as you, well, whispers follow." He finishes the apple and tosses it aside, then sips at his cider.

Raven then sat up straight, now interested in his conversation. "Whispers? About me?"
She chuckled,"if its about me being a bastard of House Umber, thats old news."

"How many lovely swordswomen do you know?" he asked simply. "Besides, the Last Hearth is not so far from the Dreadfort." He leans back a bit. "The North needs people like you."

Donnyld nods. "Stone it will be, my prince." There's no shortage of it, at least; the cliffs around the God's Eye are lined with good building stone. "Very good," Benjen said, slightly distracted. "I won't be here for much of the first phase of reconstruction, as I shall be traveling to Winterfell for Kal's wedding."

"Of course, my prince." Donnyld nods. "It shall look like new when you return."

"Hmm", she nodded listening to him,"A lovely swordswoman? The lovely I will take", she smiled,"but last night, I was knocked on my ass by a gent with an axe as big as me." Raven raised the side of her overshirt showing him the huge bruise.
"And what can I offer the North?"

"Well, he's no mean opponent. Everyone takes hits." Malryas looked to her. "Eyes and ears, my lady. You seek rather interesting company. And Asshai's interests are not necessarily ours."

She lowered her shirt and looked at him,"Oh no he wasn't mean, he was rather jolly the whole time." Raven chuckled. "It was an eyeopener though, to fight against him."
"Lord Bolton, the company that I seek is a way to leave a land that looked on me as something worthless, a dirty secret of my father's infidelity." Raven eye's studied him,"Ashaii's interests may not be yours, but they could help."
She then fell silent thinking, then she looked at him again,"What do you want from me, other then to shower me with compliments? What can the bastard of House Umber do for you and the great North?"

"Information," he said simply. "I doubt this Oriax is acting out of anything approaching altruism."

"So you want to be your spy?" Raven smirked,"that is not one of my job skills."
"And frankly, I don't know what he wants. I saw him in the library reading a book in some language that I didn't understand."

"Exactly. I'm not expecting you to be some master whisperer, just to use your eyes and ears. I'll appreciate anything you can provide." Malryas shrugged.

It had been a long, long journey, but finally they returned to Eddard's Rest. Or rather, what was rest of it and being rebuilt.
Amelia had insisted on spending a lot of time in the sun without much cover and so had accumulated a wonderfully dark tan, which she offset with a bright white dress. Of course she had also eaten as much as she could and her figure, which had before been curvy, was now fat, which she formed reasonably well with a tight corset.
Danya appeared much the same, though her hair was a little longer and her shape a little more athletic, wearing a simple green dress.
Together they made their way through the construction site, wondering what exactly had happened.

They see soldiers laboring in the cold and snow to rebuild buildings, and upon reaching the castle they see that the walls have cracked under some immense force. The guards say there was a tidal wave, and the Prince has gone north with his bride, son, and the future lord and lady Stark.

"How unfortunate," Ami commented to Danya, who gave no reaction. "Very well then, remain quiet. I'll be glad to be rid of you!" She smiled at the guards before making her way into the castle. It was unlikely any ladies of note had stayed behind but still she looked about for any friends.

After a while, however, they came across a young woman, aged eighteen or nineteen, with long brown hair done in a braid, and a slender figure. She hesitated when she saw the pair.
"Ami? Ami, is that you?"
