Benjen simply sat there, looking both mortified and angry. He poured ale again, drank it, poured again. "Do you think she will still be there when you return?" He finally asked.

"I suspect so, but have no way of knowing. I don't remember the encounter vividly, with the fever and the shock of what I saw it all seems rather hazy. If she gave any clue of it, it's been lost in my memory. She did not seem the least bit afraid, or even timid. She turned her back on me, as if I offered no threat to her. I might have slayed her beast, but she'll be a deal tougher." He took a drink.
"Oh, I'd forgot one bit," he said after a bit. "The Royce girl said she used the blood to create the monster. Whether through spells or actually putting the living blood in the dead bodies, I'm not certain."

"Of course... blood magic, yet again." Benjen grunted. "Ser Titus, I will give out the order that the woman, should she still be there, is to be taken alive. I have some... very particular questions for her. And a very particular way of asking."

"Aye," Titus nodded, though he'd have much preferred seeing a crossbow bolt split her skull from fifty yards. "I don't think I have much more to tell, my Prince, I wish I knew more. If you need help with the questions, I have a nasty scar I wouldn't mind avenging," he smiled and stood.

"I'll be sure to let you attend any potential questioning of the witch," The Prince said with a stiff nod. "Please, go do what you need to before we sail tomorrow."
