"Aye. Give me a gauntlet any day over some feather and ink." Crowl states, "It's a wonder I haven't gone back up north yet even. Since the war is over and all."

Amelia cannot seem to find him. A few questions leads her to believe he stays in a tent on the north side of the castle.

Amelia made her way outside and went looking for the tent, keeping an eye out for other interesting people.

"Tell me about..." Darius started, losing his sentence as he spotted the latest arrival to the great hall. "Could you maybe excuse me for a minute... or hopefully longer" He said, taking a sip out of the goblet before passing it back to Crowl, then taking a swig out of his wineskin. With that he decided to follow the new arrival, not thinking about what he was doing.

Amelia sees many people with undoubtedly interesting lives. As she passes by, heading north, she notes it's the less populated side, due to being away from the River Road. She spots some old friends from the Vale as well as the camp of the crannogmen. Jared's tent stands a bit away from most, its lonely apple a reminder of the rarity of Reachmen present.

Lord Jaymes Lannister enters the hall on the day following the Lannisters' arrival at Riverrun, evidently having much less to do in preparation of the wedding than his sister or their cousin, the king. He wore a brocade doublet of green that matched his eyes, his combed hair and clean-shaven face making him look slightly better than he had looked last night in the courtyard.

The gathered nobility and knights of the four kingdoms are milling about. As Jaymes wanders about, he sees a man wearing a doublet with a black apple on it. He is playing a harp.

Korben had managed to snag himself a cup, and some wine, and had avoided doing a lot of socializing well. He looked around the room as he took a drink of the red wine, nodding as he did so.
"Not bad..." He muttered to himself as he looked to the wine. It tasted good enough, not too great, not too much like piss.

Daxos Jubalho had set himself up in a corner of the great hall, where he was merrily chiseling a massive block of ice (acquired from gods' know where) into an intricate sculpture of a naked woman, another gift for the wedding feast.

The gathered nobility and knights of the four kingdoms are milling about. As Jaymes wanders about, he sees a man wearing a doublet with a black apple on it. He is playing a harp. Jaymes stepped closer, studying the sigil. "Greetings. I do not recognise your arms. Is that some variation of House Fossoway?" he asked.

The man stops and rises, then bows. "My lord," he says formally. "It is. I have been cast away from House Fossoway, but I wish to let King Brynden know that some of the Reach remembers its loyalty." He has an eyepatch covering a nasty looking scar that peeks out from all the edges of it. "I'm Jared Fossoway, stripped of my knight's honor by Lord Morrys Tarly himself. He near took my life, but all he got was a missing finger and an eye," the former knight says, a hint of pride in his voice. Lord Morrys is no mere swordsman.

Jaymes studied him for a while, then gave a curt nod. "Where was it that you and Lord Morrys met so, on the field?"

"On a road while we fled," Jared explains. "the most noble lords chased the smallfolk who wanted to remain loyal down. Slaughtered hundreds. Those of us who could fight fought but there were too many, and no one can beat Morrys Tarly with that gods-damned sword of his." He shook his head. "It was horrid."

Jaymes frowned at the image, having feared as much. "It is heartening to know there are men like you out there," he said with a note of approval to his voice. "I of course intend to march down there once the festivities are over. A traitor's place is not on a pedestal, basking in the light of the Seven."

"No, my lord," Jared slowly agrees. "It will be justice delayed, but fortunately, not justice denied."
