Robyn smiles and opens up the folded paper to read it, in case it was something she should show her father sooner rather than later,
"Yes. In a moment."

The letter is in Meera's handwriting. It is mostly proof of life, if anything. She tells everyone she loves them, by name. Even Robyn.

Robyn thought for a moment and then looked apologetically at Bolton, "I think I should give this to my father, could you meet me back here in a little while?"

Elias nods. "Of course." He sits back down.

Very soon after departing the first time, Robyn returned to the Water gate to look for Bolton, her father's words unnerving her. She went to the spot where she had left him sitting.

He is there, reading something.

Robyn approached him, "my father was relieved by your letter," she said, standing in front of him, "he asked for you, I think he would like to thank you personally,"

Elias thinks a moment. "I must change to stand before the king," he says. "My clothes are too ratty for him. I'll be right back."

"You can believe me, when I say the king will not care how you're dressed, so thrilled is he to have news on my sister," she smiled, "he said right away, at any rate,"

Elias rises and stretches. "Very well. I hope I'm not judged based on my appearance." He bows. "I don't know the way, lead on."

He follows cheerfully, whistling. "So, what did your father tell you about me? He was my father's best friend growing up, you know."

He was a talented man indeed to be able to whistle and talk at the same time, "well, as you can tell from the i was away, he did not say much, I gave him the letter, he asked to see you,"
She thought back through her memories, to see if she had recollection of her father mentioning it, but came up short, "no, I do not believe he did,"
