"He thinks you're smart, especially for a Westerosi, and pretty." She grins. "And you're nicer than my aunts, except Cassie. She is the nicest."

"Are most people from Westeros stupid, then? And ugly?" She laughed harshly. If he liked her so much, why would he have made her and Amelia play that ridiculous game? Why not just... She couldn't keep the frown off her face. "I've only met them briefly, and they seem nice enough." She shrugged.

"I don't know. Your guards aren't very smart or pretty." She naturally says this in Valyrian. "But we don't get many foreigners from so far away, and if you read the books...do people really worship trees? My aunts are horrible! Daena especially." She shudders.

She smiled at that. "They're guards. It isn't their job to be smart or pretty. And yes, they do worship trees, in the North, and some part of the Riverlands...where I come from, they don't. What religion do you follow, anyway?" She thought of Daena, and the strange way she had eyed her and touched her hair. "I don't think I like her myself much either," she said confidentially. "By the way, who's the father of her child?"

"Benjen Stark, Prince of some Rest. She will NOT shut up about it," Shrinessa says with an eyeroll. "Also because Tristessa didn't get pregnant apparently, so when it pops out she won't burn it. I am like my father; I want to be Valyrian!" She leans in conspiratorially. "They have the best books, after all. We have them in an old library."

"Eddard's Rest," she corrected the girl automatically, before realizing which name she had said. She bit her lip. Of course it would be. And...to burn it? She decided she didn't want to know. "And I agree with you. They do have the best books, with the best stories..." She grinned. "You should show me this library. I've finished all the books I brought with me already."

"All right! It's in our little palace, where only certain people can go though. But you can come!" She skips off merrily, singing out prime numbers inf three languages.

Arania had to hurry to keep up, very amused by the girl's behaviour. She was not amused, however, to be returning to the palace so soon, where there was a high likelihood of encountering the adult Targaryens, none of whom she could ever look in the eye ever again.
