"It seems rather extreme, though. The limp did not prevent him from leaving a largely normal life," Ragnar pointed out.

The man shrugs. "From what I have heard of the Ironborn, you look down on any weakness, yes? And were these girls...attractive? Very tempting, for a man with little save a handicap and a nickname forged in disdain."

"Aye. They are beauties. I won't deny that. So what do you know of Cassadar and the other man, Harrys Snow, was it?"

"They wiped out the Faceless Men; isn't that knowledge enough?" he shrugs. "Rumor is they had a falling out. Something about the end of the world."

That made him frown. Serious discussions about the end of the world weren't a common topic of conversation among the Ironborn, and although Ragnar was better read than most - if not all of his people - he wasn't exactly accustomed to discussing such things.
"I would like to know more about this. You said it was your own people who did this, so that means you must be working or one or both of these men."

"Indeed. Why would I bother talking to you, though? I'm closer to them than some iron lord from far away."

"Aye. I assume you speak to me because I am here," Ragnar said. "But I am curious as to why my people were set up. I cannot rest until I find out. We are a people that take what we wish for, and enjoy a good fight, but one thing I cannot accept is an attempt to frame us for a crime we did not commit."

He shrugs. "Well, that I do not know. Cassadar or Harrys would have to tell you, themselves."

Ragnar nodded.
"Perhaps you might help me find them?"

The man shrugs. "Harrys lives in some giant manor a few days' ride inland. Hard to miss; it covers a whole hillside. The road to Norvos is dangerous, though."

"Danger doesn't frighten the likes of me," Ragnar boasted. "But if you care to share what manner of danger, I won't turn away."

"Well, the man masterminded an attack on a castle that killed fifty, and brought you all the way from the Iron Islands to Braavos seeking information. I dare say the danger should be apparent."

"Ah, I wondered if you were referring to other dangers as well. Bandits, for example, or dangerous beasts. I am not accustomed to travelling by road except where it's necessary. Horses and I are hardly the best of friends," Ragnar explained, rather dismissively.

The man shrugs. "There are those too, but I assume you have men with you to dissuade such attacks."

"I do. Of course. Thank you, at any rate."
