Silas had to repress a visible shudder at the thought, riding in the box on its back had been jarring as it was. Though even so, his curiosity over came his trepidation.
"I am sure I would be the first monk to do so." he smiled at the idea as he verbalized it. "Not that I have ever been the best model of the Faith."

ooc: Was that a thought or a response?

ooc: Whoops a response. I can see how that was confusing. My bad.

Cassana shrugs. "I've never seen a man who claimed to be a fine representative of his faith, actually be a fine representative of his faith."

Silas revealed a sly smile, but held his tongue. In truth, the blind faith and devotion of the High Septon and Knight-Commander unnerved him. But they had saved him from the streets and for that the Seven had earned his patronage.
"A poignant observation for someone that claims to be a young woman in over her head."

"Then that should tell you how deep is the water, if even I cannot but stay afloat." Cassana shrugs. "Flying is my release."

"Poetic, to escape the grime of the earth and explore the heavens." Silas mused. "Perhaps flying is your religion, Princess."

'Then consider me its high priestess, and Rhaegys my god," she said, joking. "Now, come on, a flight awaits."

Silas laughed and stood to follow her, glancing at her curiously. This highborn woman, a princess at that, showed him unusual kindness. It was odd to a man that had known only derision and ridicule for most of his life due to his appearance. He wondered if all foreign representatives received the same offer, but left it unasked.
"What gods does the Blackfyre hold?" he asked, though doubted any with the news of his kinslaying.

"He will not be spoken of to me," she said, "He is the Stranger to me, the Great Other, and I shall not hear any more of that name." She helps him onto the dragon's head, then straps him on. "Hold those reins." She takes her own, and with barely a nudge Rhaegys is off....falling a hundred feet before rising into the air. Every time he turns his head, Silas feels vertigo, but the sights are amazing.

He considered pressing the matter, but the next instant it seemed he was soaring through the clouds. What began as overbearing fear gave way to exhilaration, and then amazement. His eyes took in sights not even the Arryns perched at the top of the world had the privilege of. His death grip on the reins eventually loosened, enjoying the opportunity. For a moment he forgot about the horrors of his childhood, the politics of the realm, and the threat against the Seven. For that moment he was free...and eternal, touching the Gods as his superiors could only dream.

The moment stretches to almost exactly three thousand and six hundred, before at last the great dragon returns to its perch. Cassana helps him off. "My religion, indeed, Silas."

"Truly." he managed to say. "I am not sure why you ever come down."

"Well, i like wine, too, and once I tried flying a bit too drunnk...well, it didn't end well." She chuckles. "I hope you have a fine day, Brother Silas."

"And you, princess." he said, smiling, not sure if it was a jest or not. "I hope to converse with you again soon." he added more awkward than he wished. The albino had never had anything resembling a friend and kept waiting for the cruel punchline to the joke he had been conditioned to cynically expect. His life had been dominated by bullies and superiors...most whores would not even accept his coin thinking he was cursed or diseased.
