"No one knows. They go into Cass's Keep and never come out, or so I hear. I've never seen the Keep." She looks at him. "She's worse than a witch. She's more like a demon."

"I'm sure she's not half so terrifying as you have heard. Perhaps you would like the chance to help us catch her, before she catches you, your sisters or your friends. I don't want that to happen to you, and neither does Prince Benjen. And, of course, we will personally see that you are protected, I swear it by the Gods."

While Titus was questioning the girl, and after being attended to by a medic, Prince Benjen ordered the men to round up the captured clanspeople in front of a makeshift pedestal.

It takes a while, to get through the rape and such, but eventually the defeated people are assembled.
Miranda looks at him. "How would I help? I just wanna go away, maybe Beyond the Wall ,and never come back. I won't hurt no one, I swear."

Benjen scanned the crowd with his grey eyes, a calm expression on his face. "You are not my enemy! I have no quarrel with you! You are all free to go and so as you will!" He paused for effect. "My enemy is Draven, and those that follow him! I want you all to spread the word that the man who brings me the head of the clansman Draven will be rewarded with a lordship! And if a lordship is not what they wish they are free to ask anything they desire!"

"No, I don't think that will do, unfortunately," he said, sadly. "Once the man Draven is caught and his head on a spike, along side this demon woman's, then I will take you and yours anywhere you wish. You wouldn't make it on your own, it's too far and not all my people are as accepting as I am. Now, come, let's hear what the Prince has to say, shall we?"

Miranda follows and listens to what Prince Benjen says. "He said I can go... I wanna go north!"
The tribesmen look to each other, confused. "Lord o'what, exactly?" A voice calls out.

"A keep and land will be found!" Benjen announced. "As I said, if it is not to their liking they may have what they wish!"

A man steps forward. "I can't kill Draven, only a true fool would try, but I can help you, Prince Stark." He is short and stocky, and the cuts on him indicate he didn't surrender easily.

"Any man who wishes to follow may do so!" Benjen exclaimed, nodding at the man. "Know that I will test your loyalty however!"

"Loyalty? I just don't like that creepy cunt he has doing his bidding." The man shrugs. "Cass's Keep is..." he suddenly gurgles as another man shves his fingers, spearlike, through his throat, ripping it out in front of everyone.
"All who defy the deliverer shall suffer the same..." he is struck down immediately by an armed guard. No one else says a word.

Benjen shakes his head. "Do not let the followers of Draven intimidate you! All who wish to follow may remain here; you others can go."

Only two people stay. Miranda, the young girl, and some slightly older lad who looks like he's related to her. No one else wants anything to do with someone who can make a guy rip another man's throat out.

Benjen shrugged and ordered the men to prepare for the journey back to the main host. He would question them later.

One of the men on the flank comes running in. "Prince Benjen! They're coming! Two hours northwest at the most!" He gulps. "They have prisoners. A lot of prisoners."
