"Vhagus Blackfyre," Amelia explained. "I will be visiting Vaes Dothrak with him, to hear another side of this whole story. The Dothraki have no love for the Targaryens."

Arania gave Kal a small smile. "I'll do my best. I hope they'll understand..." She followed Amelia into the carriage, but did not speak until she was sure Kal was out of earshot. "Vhagus Horsefire? A Blackfyre? He sounds absolutely fascinating! And we're going to go to Vaes Dothrak?" She clapped her hands gleefully, almost childlike in her wonder and curiousity.

Kal enters the hall and finds Danya, sitting next to her, watching the fun chaos. "She sure knows how to make a scene." He shakes his head. "She thinks she's heading to Vaes Dothrak, of all things."

"Well, if you want to come with me!" Amelia said chirpily, the drama all but forgotten. "Yes, Vhargus is indeed an interesting man... a little forward, perhaps, though I probably flirted a bit too much with him."
///
"Only thinks?" Danya asked, an amused expression on her face. "And what is really in store for my favourite friend?"

"We need to head to New Valyria, to actually, you know, do what we got all these ships and swords and gold for." He shakes his head. "Please tell me you can be a bastion of sanity here. And I cannot believe I am saying that to a girl who carries daggers and assassinates people for a living."

Danya gave Kal a crooked smile. "It may not hurt finding out the Dothraki perspective on things. After all, it won't take all of us to acquire the alliance with the Targaryens."

Dustin looks to her with a resigned sigh. "If he comes north like I suspect he will...well, I will probably have to kill him." Reyna shivered. "That is not the kind of thing I had in mind. He's a hard man, but still my father. I would prefer you not to kill him, if at all possible. But I had a different idea, if you will hear it, my dear?"

"I was sort of counting on having her twin...ambassadors to do a lot of my bargaining." He looks at her and shrugs. "I just...when was the last time you heard of anything good coming out of Vaes Dothrak?"
//
Fyodor nods. "I am all ears."

"Well. I hear that Beyond the Wall, the wildlings have a custom, where the men try to steal the woman they wish to marry from her father's camp. If the wildling succeeds, the father will allow him to take the woman for his bride. Of course, if the bride doesn't care for the match, she'll make her feelings known and go back to her father while she waits for a better man to come along. But often they respect the man strong enough to claim them."
She leaned in close to him.
"We are not wildlings, I know, but it's the sort of custom my father might respect. Our people are raiders too. I'd think he'd accept our marriage, if you paid the iron price for me."

"Shouldn't that involve killing him? That's how it works with our women, from what I've gathered. Kill the father, steal the daughter." He shrugs. "Or I could take you back to my ship right now."

"Though I understand that you may not wish to have Arania play the... flirty ambassador."

Reyna almost giggled.
"That sounds intriguing. But we must be married before the bedding. And I still don't want you to kill my father. I'd hate to have his death upon my conscience. It's not exactly the best omen for a marriage, either."

"Can you see Arania trying to play flirty?" He says with a grin. "And stags to dragons she's going to get on my case about going to Vaes Dothrak too...ugh. Why couldn't Benjen have just fucked Ami properly when he should have..."
///
"That doesn't sound I'd be paying an Iron Price. Shall I steal you from this feast?" He rolls his eyes. "It's not like I WANT to kill your father. Well...not entirely, anyway."

I could spend years traveling and never know all I wanted to know. Vaes Dothrak seems a further dream than Volantis or New Valyria ever were." She looked out the window at the passing streets dreamily. "But I am sure you did. How did you come to be dressed in such a thing? And...did you...did he?"

"Even I want to hurt him a little," Reyna admitted. "But you can kill somebody else, can't you? That would count. And I don;t mind if you steal me away here and now."
