"Yes but I meant what I said. I shall not give away my maidenhead lightly. Not even though we won't meet any for a long time."
She sighed a little.
"It's hard, I know, but I am determined upon it."

His grip relaxes on her to a more gentle hold, and he kisses her ear. "Can we fool around a little, at least?"

"That depends on what you mean by fool around," she said. "Not if you offend my maiden's sensibilities."
But she winked after she'd said it.

He seems to consider her wink a sign of reasonable playfulness, and picks her slight frame up and carries her to his "bed", really three cots lashed together with, in fact, a giant white bear fur as a blanket and three wolf pelts as extra warmth. He kisses her hard and runs his arm down her side, deliberately staying away from her happy place.

She moved herself into a more comcortable position, propping herself up on her elbows, smiling at him.
"So, what would it mean to fool about?"

"Well, you see all these wolf pelts.."

Reyna giggled.
"Come, now, that's cheating! The agreement was you would kill a wolf for me, and bring me its pelt. These wolfskins have been prepared for use already. I can't accept them."

"I killed them all myself, I swear by the old gods." he says. "And you only said I had to bring you a wolf pelt. Technically...I brought you to the pelt, but I feel that should be overlooked." He nods down. "I killed the bear, too, up on Bear Island, when I was just a boy squiring for old Mormont."

"Did you? That's admirable. But I still call it cheating. We talked specifically of you hunting the wolf. Am I to reward you for something you did before we'd even met? I should think I'm worth more than that," she told him, though she stroked her fingers down his leg.

"The deal was for a wolf pelt killed by my own hand. Do my past deeds mean nothing? Done two days or two years ago, the wolves are dead by my own bow and spear. Besides, there is no way I'll find a wolf this far south in the next five days. I do have work to do you know. King Terrence Stark needs my advice on naval matters now and again. I am not, although this is a shock, just a pretty face." He takes her hand and guides it under his shirt and up.

Her fingers played along his chest, lingering softly and then tickling him.
"Naval matters? This far south? But we are nowhere near the sea. Perhaps your king works you harder than the Lannisters work me. But I suppose they hardly need me while we're all here."

"Not tactics, Reyna, strategy, policy, that sort of thing." He chuckles as she tickles him. "Naughty naughty girl. Now, would you like a wolf pelt or not?"

"You know I would," she said. "It will keep me warm when we are parted."

"Well, then, here you go." He drapes the three-wolf blanket about her shoulders. "If you come to the north, I shall hunt down another and make it a proper cloak."

She smiled and pulled the pelts close.
"That's very generous."
Then a moment of recognition passed across her face and she looked directly at him.
"Why don't I come North with you? If the King agrees. I could ask him to give me leave. I've been at Casterly Rock for a year, after all."
