"Nothing to forgive; every walk is enhanced by the presence of a beautiful lady," Benjen replied good-naturedly. "But yes, soon discussion about laws and alliances will begin. If it goes how I expect then we will be here a while yet."

"That is kind of you to say," she said demurely.
"I fear that you are right. We have been at war almost a hundred years, hot and cold. Why would it be settled now, of all times?" She sighed. "I hope things will be decided, and quickly. Though I can't imagine they will stay peaceful for too long."

"I doubt we will ever be at complete peace; unless of course we are forced to unite because of a mutual enemy," Benjen commented, holding out his arm for Arania. "Who knows, perhaps one is already coming our way."

She took his arm, somewhat awkwardly. "It would be nice to live at peace, but I suspect you men would get bored." She glanced up at him, though he was only a little taller than she was. "And what enemy might that be?"

"The Free Cities alliance, maybe, or the Targaryens. Perhaps the Ghiscari League?" Benjen shrugged. "I don't think anyone could predict at this time." He thought of Malryas. "At least not with complete accuracy."

"I had heard whispers of a group of adventurers crossing the Narrow Sea. And of dragons." She laughed. "I am not sure what to believe, though such things are the talk of the Citadel." She frowned. "Do you really think they would come west to make war on us?" She imagined a second conquest of Westeros.

"Probably not; why bother?" Benjen asked rhetorically. "They have their lands in Slaver's Bay and seem more concerned with the Ghiscari than anyone else. And if they had a dragon... well, we would know about it."

"Perhaps. But who would believe it? Even eyewitnesses coming west, would they not be called mad?" The idea amused her...how intangible truth really was. She went quiet, considering it, almost forgetting that she was on the arm of the Prince.

His presence is questioned by Reyna's servants but he is permitted entry after a few minutes. He sees at once that the tent is a decent size. It has a small common area where Reyna can sit and eat, but another part is partitioned off, presumably for her sleeping quarters.
Reyna sat in her camp chair, wearing a black and gold silk dress.
"Greetings, ser," she said politely. "To what do I owe this honour>?"

She went quiet, considering it, almost forgetting that she was on the arm of the Prince. "The first ones, perhaps; but the more the news spreads the more believable it becomes." He shrugged again. "Anyhow, let us not talk of such dark topics. I can only assume you look forward to the tourney?"

Hew bows as best he can. "Hello Lady Reyna Harlaw, My name is Jason Rowan, and an ambassador as well to Dorne representing his Majesty King Kyle." He smiles to her. "I understand you are here from the Iron King, I wish to offer my greetings to your ladyship." He said with a smile.

"That is most kind of you," she said. "Though I am curious now. How did you know to find me?"

"I went looking for you in the Iron Camp, I had figured your King would have Recalled you." He said looking over the woman. She is good, she is nothing like the other Ironmen.

"Well, he didn't," she said. "I've only been ambassador for a year and I hope to keep the post a while longer."
