"Archery sounds like your best bet, then." Leon agrees. "There will be a hunt of course."

Lars gets noticeably excited when the Hand speaks of a hunt. "That would be a grand time!" Lars then pauses for a moment. "Oh but the true reason I came here... I was wondering if I could go North to the wall after this tourney and give them aid against the Wildlings. I am sure those people have been raiding Liddle clan land, as they always have."

"I had heard Lord Rickon is raising some small host, so you shouldn't have a problem finding fellow northmen to stand beside you. Go with my blessing."

"Thank you Lord Hand, I shall." Lars says with a bow. "I should go and sign up for the tourney now. I wish you well, My Lord."

Lord Leon rises and nods, then sits back down as the huntsman leaves.

Prince Benjen left the chambers of the Martells and made his way over to the Lannister rooms, intent on speaking with King Kyle.

He is let in immediately by Lord commander Brax. King Kyle is speaking to some knight, who is immediately dismissed as he rises. "Prince Benjen Stark! A pleasure to meet you at last!" in the corner of his throne, a huge sword can be seen slung.

"King Kyle, it is an honour," Benjen said, bowing like he had with Princess Nalya. "I have to admit that even as a young boy I was intrigued about making your acquaintance. Your name certainly has wide renown."

Jory paced around the castle, observing positions and watch lengths of the guards, high vantage points, and easy places to climb, carefully noting everything in his head for when the time was right.

Kyle chuckles at that. "It's diplomatic of you to say renown and not infamy. I imagine it is quite the measure of both, in the North." His voice is deep and sonorous, befitting a true leader of men. "I had not heard you were on your way here, else I would have been better prepared." He raises a chalice of wine. "It is not often I am caught off my guard." He offers a similar, albeit slightly smaller, chalice to Benjen.

Benjen accepted the wine gracefully and took a small sip, wanting to pace himself. "I would have called ahead but I did not think it seemed too important. And infamy... perhaps, but I did not wish to offend." He chuckled. "So, this grand meeting planned here seems to be well timed."

"Times well enough, I'd say; they found a good spot in between major wars!" Kyle gestured him to a seat. "But, the real question is what does everyone want to gain from this little assembly we have? Talk is good. Talk followed by meaningful action is much better."

"I would say perhaps an end to border disputes between the Kingsland and Dornish, but I would be lying. Unfortunately. Strife between the two has been everlasting." He pauses for thought. "Perhaps a strengthening of old alliances and a forging of new ones?"

"Perhaps,'' the western king agrees, "perhaps. But, I would be deceitful if I did not make my own confession to you; I had hoped you would come that you may meet my daughters. There are few better ways to forge alliances, and to mend old distrusts, I find, then two young people making a new family."

Benjen gave an expectant laugh. "I would be a fool to decline your invitation to meet your daughters, your Grace. I've heard of both the beauty and intellect of your girls, so if you deem my current attire worthy enough I shall request to see them as soon as possible."
