"I am doing well, thank you." Lars replies with a respectful bow to someone above his station. "With all this chaos about, has the King given you any patrol duty or the like?"

ooc: Keep in mind this guy is a legendary knight.
Ser Justin chuckles. "No, Lyddle, not exactly. I've been staying up here and making sure no one starts any trouble, mostly. Wave the big sword, scare the scavengers and all."

Lars laughs "Right, patrolling wouldn't be a very fit roll for you. It must get stuffy and boring up here though. I can't stay long without spending time in the woods."

"That is certainly your duty, as huntsman. I am sorry I missed the fight; it sounded like you all had a hell of a time." Justin Mallister always enjoyed a good battle.

Lars laughed at first, "Well yes, but I mean besides my work, I still could not be kept from the woods for long, but I guess that is why I'm a huntsman." His mood changed to be much more somber. "It was a good fight. I only wish things would have ended differently. Can you believe people could think Prince Benjen killed the Lannister girl?"

"They'll believe what makes the best story." Justin looks aggravated at the thought. "So long as the North knows the truth it won't end up mattering much though. The goldlands can come up if they want; I'll settle their argument for them." He tapped his sword twice on the stone floor meaningfully.

Lars nods thoughtfully, agreeing with Justin but also still trying to get him in the open. "We should go on a hunt! Take our minds off the current events. I'm sure the King would enjoy some fresh venison."

ooc: Just so you're aware, there's no way Gary Grimm will tangle with Justin Mallister. He wants the daughter.
Mallister nods. "Perhaps, although he is still requiring my counsel on some matters of importance. I am hoping we can have one grand hunt for the North on the way back to Eddard's Rest, before we all split off to go home."

"Yes Lord Frey mentioned something about a great hunt to me when we first arrived here." Lars then smiles as he becomes aware of another plan, as if it was pushed into his head by some forgotten God. "I should be going though, I wish you well." He begins to walk away before turning back "Forgive me for not asking sooner. How is your daughter? She was one of the girls that was captured, was she not?"

Justin shook his head with a sigh. "No; she killed two of the bandits who did the deed, though. Clearly my daughter." His voice is somewhere between shock and pride. "She is quite well, though; I appreciate your concern."

"She killed them? You have a most impressive daughter, and I am glad to hear she is well." He replies, he bows to Justin and takes his leave.

He goes back to the royal apartment with the new information to look for her. If he sees Justin first he asks permission to speak with her.

She is easy enough to find in the quarters, playing a harp on the balcony. She looks over to the huntsman. "Master Lars, how are you today?"
