"Oh, the sept is about three hundred feet up," she says. "I pray with Father every night before bed. There is also the arms room, the top is the lighthouse, and the library."

She stored that information amongst other useful tidbits like how hard to crank a crossbow, how to keep dagger blades sharp and pristine, and how to deliver poison in the best ways possible. The septa with a dagger in the sept seemed like too obvious a scenario, but you had to go through a dozen or so crazy ideas before the best ones took shape. "Oh thats lovely," Dice said. "Maybe its best to go to the top and work down? I bet the view is amazing."

Alysanne nods and they begin the long walk up the Hightower. "I usually stop for wine halfway up," Aly confesses.

Beric shakes his head. "I stay here. It is my place. Talk to him, though, Theomore. He will listen, so long as he gets his war." Ser Theomore nodded, feeling a bit disappointed that he wouldn't be able to ride with Lord Beric to Highgarden, before he shifted yet again in his chair. "Are you sure, Lord Beric? Why would Lord Rychard listen to a young whelp like me, one without any real battles in my history and a small bannerman's heir as well? Aren't there other advisors that have the King's ear that could reason with him. I mean, I will try of course but I am sure that not all the prayers to the Crone would grant me so much wisdom that I could convince him to stand down and bide his time."

For Dice it wasn't too much trouble to walk up all the stairs, "How long does it usually take to get up and down?"

"Forty five minutes or so, ma'am," Aly says. "Too long, for me. I do it once a week at most." It is quite the haul.

"A workout to keep you healthy for sure." Wine...halfway up... "Do you take your wine in your room then?"

"Or on the balcony," she said, "the view is amazing." Dice can see for dozens of miles already. "It is our version of a mountain, I guess."

"I bet it's like this up in the Eyrie, but here we can see the water and all the boats." Escaping this place could end up being a massive boondoggle. Stealth would be of utmost importance. Escaping undetected even importanter. It would suck if she did her mission then had to walk down a flight of stairs for 20 minutes and every guard saw her on the way down. Fuck that. She had her usual stupid plans bubbling in her mind. She gave Alysanne a smile. "A little bit romantic isn't it?"

"I...guess so. I didn't think septas said that," Aly reddened. "I want to kiss a boy here, before I leave."

She shrugged, "It's a reality my lady, us women have dreamed of this sort of thing at one point in our lives right?" She continued trudging up the steps, "Just make sure no one sees you do it." Dice said in reply to the second part of Aly's comment.

"Of course not," she laughed. They finally reach the top, a great light burning to signal to ships of the proximity to the great port. "You can almost see Highgarden from here," Aly says.

"I give you my blessing to speak to him on my behalf. Beg for peace, Ser Theomore. Too many have died already." He coughs. "Many more will follow if you fail."

Ser Theomore looked worriedly at Lord Beric, that was two coughs in just a short time and the first one had forced the man to take a seat.
"Thank you, Lord Beric. I will do whatever I can to try and dissuade him from this folly plan." he said and rose from his seat and headed for a cabinet where he knew that Beric had kept wine in the past. "Do you want me to pour you a cup of red Arbor for your throat?"

"Of course not," she laughed. They finally reach the top, a great light burning to signal to ships of the proximity to the great port. "You can almost see Highgarden from here," Aly says. "I hope no one has fallen from here," Dice says whilst taking a look around. It would be really badass to somehow scale the monstrosity, she thought, though that was beyond her abilities. "It would be nice to live here. I envy you. Though one day you will have to leave and I will still be here in Oldtown looking up at the tower."
