"She's been teaching you right then." Lyonel had always been a man of the higher arts, rather than the menial brutish life of a warrior, it made him happy to see a young lad such as this one already forwarded towards a more intellectual path. "There's nothing more beautiful than the sound of a feather against the parchment as a deal is struck."
"But you should never underestimate the art behind swordfight." He mused. "Well, maybe not by our Western customs. But in the East, in Braavos, a swordsman must wield his weapon like an artist wields his brush. The Water Dance is much more suited for men of our breed, I believe. Maybe I'll teach you some of it one of these days."

The young lord is amused at that. "My father is Lord Kalvin Stark," he said, "I assure you I was trained in the sword. I think I can do better calligraphy with a blade than a quill." He nodded. "Will you accompany us this evening? I am sure you remember the Lonely Lighthouse Inn. Nowhere has more fine drink and dancing."

"Of course..." Lyonel smiled respectfully at the mention of Lord Star, not delving much far in the matter. He had never met Kalvin in person, but from what he'd heard of the man, he had come to assume that Stark was a huge pain in the was.
"Lonely Lighthouse? Or should we Call it the perfect mix of atmosphere and cuisine? That place is simply magnificent, my Lord. When I was your age, I used to ask my father to take me there, just so I could dance with those fair young ladies."

"Well I suppose I shall have to disappoint Oldtown's finest tonight," he said, "for flowers far more fair have come to my city." He bows. "I shall see you all presently. See Ryan shall take your things to your quarters. I must change; I look a positive fright."

"You don't," Leona said. "At least you haven't been aboard ship for days. But I know I'll feel much better after I've changed."

Soon enough, Leona had changed into a sky blue gown that clung to her torso before flaring out wide at the waist. Her hair had been shaped into loose waves. She waited for the others.

Alysse has gone the opposite way, her dress tight and green, showing off her maturing curves, her hair done up. The young lord arrives in a grey outfit that matches his one eye. He bows once again. "I feel I have died and gone to the afterlife the gods promise," he said. "To be in the presence of such beauty." A carriage that costs almost as much as the Sunset Red arrives to pick them up. He lets both ladies and Lyonel in and they head through the narrow, crowded streets of Oldtown.
The Lonely Lighthouse is build like a mini Hightower, and Beric grins and offers Leona (being the older sister) an arm. "Please," he said, "follow me," they enter and after a short introduction are seated at the top, overlooking the bay with all the ships coming and going, the Citadel visible to the east. The dance floor is crowded with socialites who look at the new arrivals with interest. He smiles. "So, please, tell me of yourselves."

Leona raised an eyebrow. "An interrogation already, before we even have a drink? That seems harsh." Her eyes twinkled with amusement as she asks "Is that the way of it? We pay for our visit by answering questions?"

"I assume you pay with gold," he said with humor in his voice, "do yo use any coins on me? I thought Lyonel here brought the money." he shrugged as wine arrived for them, some sort of thick liquor for him. "Interrogation? Interrogations have questions. I believe I made a statement," he said.

"Well, you also insisted we tell you about ourselves when all we want to do is have a little fun and relax. What will you do if we refuse? Get out the thumb screws?" She teased.

"I am more a rack person," he said with a smile. "Very well, we shall relax." He raises a toast. "To good sleep and pleasant dreams." Alysse has yet to take her eyes off the handsome if odd looking young man, and she is a second late raising her glass.

Leona raised her glass with a smile. "I'm sure you will learn everything you need to know about us soon enough," she said. "As for me, I shall remember that you prefer the rack to thumbscrews. What next? Shall we discuss our preferred method of drawing bad teeth?"

Beric nodded at that. "I'd prefer asking how you dance, Leona," he said.

She shrugged. "Well enough, when I know the steps. I know some of the popular dances, but there's a few I don't. And my goodsister would never let me do that one dance where your body touches the man's body the whole time. She said it was indecent for an unmarried lady to learn that."

Alysse rose quickly and took his hand. "I know every dance!" She said excitedly. Lord Hightower took her hand in surprise and then swallowed, then led the young lady to the floor.
