The Arbor is home to House Redwyne. It boasts several towns and a multitude of vineyards.

The ship bearing Morgan and her companions docked at Ryamsport. As they disembarked at the busy harbour, Morgan remarked to Sara "It looks like a charming island. Ought we to go straight to the castle? I would quite like to walk around the town."

Sara shrus. "We don't need to go to the castle. Olyvar here is the one with the business," she noted. "We can settle for wine." The port is rather bustling, thousands of people strong, and the wine trade is evident from the massive amounts of barrels being loaded. The Arbor has more than vineyards though, foods and minerals from the interior mountains are everywhere.

"Well, yes. Let's buy a drink in a good inn, then visit a wine merchant's and perhaps do a little shopping. We will want to make a good impression when we meet Vhagus."
Her face lit at the prospect of shopping.

Sara nods her agreement. Ryamsport is a strange town, really; more like a giant market. Most of the citizens are temporary, returning to vineyards or farms when possible to get more grapes. The ladies get large wine drinks with ice in them and then Sara nods. "What did you want to shop for?"

"Oh, mostly just wandering to see what takes my fancy. It will be good to see if they have any different merchandise to the city, though. I would quite like a new dagger though."

"A dagger? Sara asked. "I hope we didn't sail three hundred miles for a knife." They enter the world market and are assailed by Meereenese, Qartheen, and more conventional merchants, selling clothes and spices and exotic weapons and books and medicines and more.

Morgan smiled and sipped her wine.
"Of course not! But it would be rather nice to have a new one. My old one is looking rather worn out these days. I would quite like a silk scarf too. I want to make a good impression upon Vhagus when we arrive. I packed clothes suitable for travelling in, and exploring ruins, but there is only so much a girl can do with plain breeches and tunics. A colourful scarf would brighten up the outfit, wouldn't it?"

"What do you think the weather is like in Valyria?" Sara asked. "I never much thought on it. It's...hot, right? Or..." she thinks. "We need Dornish clothes too, I feel. Best have a backup plan."

"Yes. We need to make sure our clothing is versatile," Morgan agreed. "I packed a warm cloak but it won't hurt to have something suitable for warm weather too. I'm not sure what the weather is like over there but I feel that it's warm more often than not. maybe even hot, as you say."
Her smile widened. "It will be fun to shop for clothes though. I don't get to do it very often now, and I do miss it, sometimes. Besides, if you want to really impress Vhagus, we have to make you irresistible." She grinned.

"I'm already irresistible," she said. "But, lead on." They find plenty of clothing merchants, and they have no real shortage of gold. "Warm clothes, clothes for sun, and clothes to make a statement..."

"Yes, I think that covers everything," Morgan agreed. She wrapped a deep blue silk scarf around her shoulders and twirled. "How does this look? The colour is so perfect! I'll buy you one if you like. What's your favourite colour?"

"I'm going to go off normal taste," she said. "I'm feeling yellow today. I know it's odd," she said, trying the scarf, "but Vhagus will have seen people in everything normal. Perhaps something off the beaten path will make him more likely to grant our request." combined with a light blue, it actually does end up looking rather nice.

"Yes, perhaps it will. Though he must be used to the exotic by now, perhaps we'll be of interest to him based on how different we are to the people he usually associates with." Or so she hoped. "Do you know anything about Dornish clothing? I'm afraid I don't. I like new clothes as much as anyone but fashion was never something I kept up with. I always supposed they just wore light, floaty fabrics. Or...clothing a little like nightwear." She giggled.

"The loose clothes are for the heat," she said. "Normal clothes stop air from reaching your skin, but theirs make the wind flow through to keep you cool." She shrugs. "I suspect the seductive aspect of it was unintended at first. Less so now." She tried a bunch of stuff on before finding what she liked. "Our minds will do more than our bodies, Morgan. He has his pick of the most exotic women in all the world."
