A large area outside of the city is being prepared for the tourney.

Kraznys and his Honorable men had just arrived from their little journey to Myr; they had spent a considerable amount of time at sea due to a series of unexpected stops at several minor ports and Myr, the first he felt there was no need to explain but the Myr one, the Captain had intended to get his elephant with them, he grew restless when departed from the creature for too long. In the meanwhile, King Killion had apparently managed to end a War, receiving a new large chunk of land for his Empire, and start a genocide against witch-folk...
Anywho, the mercenaries had set up one of their pavillion's around the Tourney Field, although they were pretty rich and would probably be able to pay for whole months staying in the city's finest Inns; they, specially Kraznys, felt it hard to abandon their "country life style". Nothing could beat sleeping beneath the moonlight, with only a firepit to warm you... That, and he doubted they wouldn't allow his elephant anywhere past the main gates.
This was a bright afternoon, the band sat in stools around a small camping table, japing at eachother and teasing the hard working passerbys; ale had been flowing since they had woken up. The Captain's elephant knelt by their side, enjoying the warm spring sunlight against it's sensible white skin, occasionally Kraznys would send on of his men to fetch a pail of water so the pale creature could enjoy some refreshment. Being a High Magister was great, of course; but Kraznys missed deeply this type of careless afternoon, not having to think ablout glassblowers and burned factories.

Kiera strolled up, pausing when she saw the elephant.
"What an interesting creature," she remarked. "How does a man learn to control such a large beast?"

"You ride horse?" Kraznys said nonchalantly, taking a sip from his alehorn. It was not a lie, at least for him; the Captain had never even seen a horse before getting sent to Meereen. Riding elephants came naturally to him, for half his life, it had been the inly thing he'd ever known. "Same thing, get on top of it and kick it to get it walking. Not that hard a task."
The Captain's eyes carefully studied girl, where had he seen her before?! With all this Tyroshi-Ironborn thing he'd been going through, he was already getting used to see peope with green hair, but still... There was something that striked him as little familiar.
"Have we met before, girl?"

She shrugged. "Maybe we have. I've met a lot of men in my time, Aye, and told them where they can shove their spears too." She winked. "I'm a mercenary. I fight the same as any man, aye, and ride horses too. I'm Kiera Tigaris, out of Tyrosh."

Kraznys frowned angrily at her, hammering his fist aggressively on the table; a couple ale horns spilling in the process.
"You..." He opened a broken smile, patting the Tyroshi girl on the shoulder. "You're Tigaris girl! Of course you are! I knew I had seen that nose and those eyes somewhere before." With one of his strong, battle-hardened arms, Krazny's pushed Jaqen off of his stool, sending the men to the ground. "Go get a new barrel for us, blondie." He told his guardsman while offering Kiera the seat.
"So, how's the old bugger? Haven't seen him for what? 8? 10 years? Can't even rememeber if we were by the same side last time..."

She laughed. "Don't ask me. I assume you are the infamous Kraznys? It must have been many years ago we last met. I was just a girl at the time, so you'll forgive my poor memory. Father's well, I saw him just last year. Drinks too much, but who doesn't?" She seated herself. "He's doing well for himself. As are you, I see. This business in Westeros might be the making of us all."

"Soldier of Fortune, Captain of the Ivory Host and..." Kraznys mocked a bowed, flailing his arms around according to Myrish customs. The alcohol had already been reaching in his head for a while, to the point that he almost fell from his stool in the process. "High Magister of the Free City of Myr... Well... Not that Free anymore."
"So aye." He continued after pouring Kiera some ale and draining his on in a single gulp. "Good business for all of us! Killion is an alright fellow, keeps his words and pays debts on time; now and then awards you a whole city to rule. Can't really complain about it." Kraznys made a "not bad" face.

She laughed again. "I've seen the kraken king in combat and from a distance, of course, but I've never spoken to him. I doubt he'd be interested in the likes of me. Or, if he were, I doubt he'd be interest in my mercenary skills. Men! Your kind are all the same, you know." But she said it with a smile. "You're friendly with the kraken then, as much as it's possible for a king to have friends?"

"Wouldn't say that, little Tigaris. Kraken is still one of them, the Ironborn may be a little different from the Gold Lords and the Wolfs, the Wise Masters and the Old Magisters, but they'll never entirely accept one of us in their midst. These here, though..." He drunkenly gestured towards their drinking companions, a broad smile on his face. "I have faced fire and ruin with these men; suffered the heat of the desert and the lash of the whip, the hunger and the pain. These are what true friends are about; stick to the ones you've got, kiddo. And never forget them, no matter ho high you rise." It was no news that the captain got a little philosophical when high in his cups.

She drank deep. "I like to choose my own path. I don't have my own band yet, i travel as I please and join up with other groups for a time, before going on my own way again." She eyed him curiously. "Perhaps I'll travel with you for a time, if you'lll have me? I like a drink as well as any man and you need not fear I'd stir up trouble with the men. I get no joy from men fighting over my attentions."

Kraznys smile started fading slowly into a saddened frown, travel was a key word in her sentence. These last weeks he had spent carefree, sailing the narrow sea with his mates, but he feared the whole affair had a due date
"No can do, kiddo. I mean, it would be great to have you with us, but this is probably our last stop before going back to Myr, so there won't be much journeying done in the near future." The Captain emptied another horn, he did not regret accepting Myr, not at all, it had been his idea in the first place, to settle down and make money for the company. But still, he missed the big war camps and the constant worrying about latrines being dug in the right place; that was the life he had been made for. "Westeros seems like a nice place, maybe you can find some friends here... "

"And some gold," she pointed out. "Gold is what matters most. But you're right, I don't want to settle in Myr, or anywhere. I'm young, I want to see the world first. So you are done being a sellsword then? And now you are a high lord. Few among our kind can boast that."

Kraznys felt as if he inhabited some dark, cold limbo between being a 'common man' and an actual 'lord' as Kiera had referred to him.
"We have a lifetime contract with Killion..." He knew that to be bullshit, just some flowery excuse he told himself every night so he could sleep soundly. "So as long as he lives, we are bound to him."

Kiera frowned, not really knowing the circumstances. "Oh, I didn't realise. But what if he dies? Are you bound to his sons too, like a lord is sworn to a king? Or are you only sworn to Killion?"
