When a couple were up and they knew to be quiet, she turned to the more vocal ones in the group, "there are guards carrying wine away from here, if we hurry we can probably follow them. Or do you want to strike the granaries first?"

"Best to poison the granaries first and their fresh water stores if they're nearby." Letho answered. "That way if things go pear shaped at the palace, the siege will still succeed."

"Might as well go for the granary first then head for the palace second, if not the gates afterwards and join in with one of the assault on the walls from the inside."

Everyone is fine with the idea of hitting the granaries first. The two primary ways to the granary, based on a map the Myrish spy had made, are either following the main road directly to them, or heading through the market area of town, taking them out of the way a bit and away from the palace, but it's presumably much less guarded. The city water supply is spread over three main aquifers, the enarest of which is about a quarter mile from the granaries, which are half a mile away from the group's current position.

"If we get to the water won't that be even more effective than the grain?" she asked, though infecting a water source seemed too far for her, though she was apparently fine with poisoning grain.
Considering they were going to the granary first anyway really made taking them out of the way of the palace a moot point, as they'd end up there first anyway, so she voted for the market route, and waited to see if anyone contested her.
"Also, while the streets are busy, one mass of thirty will be easily seen, so I suggest we break into groups and move in the streets as units. In the same area but not as a single mass."

"Both would be most effective though water is far easier to poison than food." Letho replied, nodding at the rest of the plan. It was sensible enough. He sidled up near Mareth to ensure they were in the same group.

They split up and head through the market area. Soldiers are running around back and forth as the teams see the chaos. It does sound like part of the attack is ebbing, and in the distance a few banners from Pentos and the North can be seen on the wall. Letho and Mareth and the other three in their group see Karissa Dayne heading to the palace, guards in tow. Robyn and her group have an essentially open path to the granaries; war has made them very difficult to guard.

Crossing paths with the most wanted woman in the world was a bounty hunter's wet dream. He attempted to discreetly count the number of guards with her.

There are exactly eighteen.

Letho gripped his crossbow but kept moving towards the granaries and aquifers. Her time would come.

The granary is held shut by a barred door, a few men behind it, and Letho sees some men entering the city from the west side, remnants of the Ironborn battle. There's a few windows on the second floor of the great towers filled with food, but the gate to the granary doesn't look tht strong either. The teams count about half a dozen visible guards.

Preferring to avoid unnecessary conflict when there was no coin in it, Letho removed the climbing spikes from his back and attempted to stealthily approach and ascend to the second floor of the granary.

Robyn tried to find some shadow to climb up unseen onto the second floor also, in case the man needed back up.
When up there she tries to see if there were additional guards inside, providing it was safe to climb up without being seen.

Both the pair, along with Nick, by far the best climbers of the group, scramble up the granary. Battle has left the guards attention diverted elsewhere and on the back side of the giant storage building a garden provides a bit of cover for them to sneak up. Crowl notices a dozen men in armor and heavily armed heading to the front door, perhaps to get food to take to the men on the front lines. Robyn and Letho spot two guards gazing disinterestedly at the grain stores, and Nick nocks an arrow and looks to the other two silently, awaiting their lead.

Letho removes his miniature crossbow, holding it in one hand, as he drew the dirk with the other, waiting patiently for the dozen heavily armored men to come and go. They couldn't afford an all out brawl at this juncture. He scans the perimeter from their vantage point and peaked inside the granary, attempting to ascertain how total guardsmen were within and without on granary duty.
