(March)
Killion's forces arrive at Harlaw, the most populous and wealthy of the Iron Islands. The ships approach the Iron Foundry, one of the two matching shipyards built after the sacking of Mantarys, the other being Reaver's Watch on Pyke. Killion removes his Myrish spyglass and inspects the shores.

Quentyn had joined Killion on his flagship. "What's the plan?" He asked the prince.

"To take our islands back." Killion replied simply, studying the shore as the wildfire was brought out. "With steel and fire."
He continued studying the shore, looking for the dead.

He sees people manning the shipyard defenses. A few hundred at the most.

He tries to determine if they are his people, Nights Watch people, or dead people.

They are Ironborn, and he also sees some charred vessels and they are behind stout defenses. The scythe of Harlaw flies. (Please fix me if it isn't the scythe, phone is a pain to check on.

Killion ordered the ships to dock and disembarks, seeking out the current commander.

Steffon Harlaw is tapping a finger on the rampart as Killion approaches. "Prince," he said shortly, issuing orders and watching the men scurry about. "Been a long fucking month. Or two. However long it's been."

"Aye, spent the better part of the journey staring at the sails offering my first born son to the Drowned God for a fair bit of wind. Felt as if we'd left the anchor down dragging those plodding Iron Fortresses behind us." he replied, as usual covering his worries and fears with an easygoing attitude. "Hear there are some dead men about that need a reminder of the definition."

"Some?" He said. "Thousands, now. I'd guess a third of the island is gone to them, maybe more. Anyone who didn't make it to a holdfast is with them now. And the black brothers have been picking them off even inside most of those." He looked about. "But if you got yourself a proper force we can start paying them back."

"Nothing proper about them, but that's the way I like it." he quipped, as the force unloaded provisions. "How have the other islands fared? And my father?"

"Your father's been rushing from stronghold to stronghold to deliver supplies," he said. "The dead have been utterly decimating our food supplies, disease and such is more dangerous than they are." He shook his head. "As to the other islands, I heard Old Wyk and Great Wyk and orkmont took the worst of it."

"Odd that they'd hit the least vital targets." the prince mused, as a barrel of wildfire was brought out. "The Grey King sailed the world with fire and steel. Luckily I hear that is the exact cure for this malady."
He coated his blades with a thin layer of the sickly green substance.
"When lit, it should stay aflame at least an hour. Let's get moving."

"It seems this is a mass casualty attack, not conquest," he said. "They have crushed the economy of the Iron Islands," he admitted. "And slain most of our skilled laborers. "But as you say." The fleet begins disembarking.

"My point exactly. Harlaw is the Iron Islands economy." he replied. "The loss of skilled laborers is a blow but we will send replacements from the thralls in Tyrosh. Myr is conveniently flush with skilled artisans at the moment."
Leaving a sizable force behind to defend the anchored ships, the reavers set out with flaming swords in their hands and iron in their blood to reclaim what was theirs.
Fighting Swords (Dual Wield) 100 Armor Full Plate Shield (From Ability)
Leadership: Land Ambush 70 Scouting 70 Command 77 Rallying 90 Routing 80
Riposte: Using two swords gives counts as a shield against melee (not missile) attacks. He also counters the first hit he is dealt in a fight to the death, inflicting a -10 to his opponent while suffering the effects of the blow himself.
Sow Only Fear: -5 penalty to all command-related rolls enemy commanders are entitled to for a fight
Robber King: When a part of an army or navy, he reduces his side's final personnel losses by 20%
Master Duelist: Riposte now prevents 10 damage from the first attack suffered in addition to its normal effects, and it ignores damage reduction. Every round of a fight that ends in no hit gives Killion a stacking +5 bonus to the next round's roll.
