Lord Walter is reading a book when she arrives. He rises. "Princess!" he greets cheerily. "Back so soon?"

"Yes, I am surprised too" she said with a smile and kissed his cheek, perhaps a bit formally for how she usually interacted with him.
"Can we sit?"

"Of course," he said, pulling out a chair for her and pouring a tiny glass of sweet wine. "How is your day?'

"it was... interesting, how was yours?" she asked, glad she could buffer this with pleasantries and not go into it, she did not drink the wine yet.

"Well," he said. "I don't know. Business has gone well, but I find myself thinking of the future a lot and it's rather annoying," he admitted.

"I don't know if this will make it better or not..." she said, sounding a bit uncomfortable, "but it will make things easier maybe... I have accepted Lord Kalvin Starks proposal. I am sorry."

Walter thinks a few minutes, then nods. "I suppose I figured you were going to," he admitted. "I saw you and him through the Dornish campaign." He rubs his forehead. "It makes the future easier to bear, really." He sighed a bit but seems to be taking it pretty well, all told.

'He's loved me for a long time... and he... well he has waited for a long time too, for an answer, " she sighed, and moved to put her hand on his softly, "I am glad you think it will be easier this way, but I have to ask why..."

"Well, having an answer," Walter said. "It's just nice knowing. Also, I've been having tons of proposals...and I just liked you the most," he said.

"I am flattered," she said, genuinely so, "For what it is worth, I like you a lot, and you made the decision very difficult, before I met you, I had never thought there could be anyone else for me but Kalvin," Mychel came along later, "I am just sorry if you think I lead you on, it was never my intention, and I hope we can be friends, and I hope you'll be happy in marriage and everything"

Walter hugs her. "I hope so too. I hope Lord Stark makes you very happy. I just have one question," he said. "Isn't marrying someone with the same last name just a tad...odd feeling?" he asked with a wink.

Robyn smiles and hugs him back, "It will be weird, but not as weird as it would be having to get used to people calling me by a different name" Robyn said, grinning, "So, if I was first choice, which lucky lady was second?"

"Well, it looks like Naomi Baratheon," he admitted. "King Aaron wants some sort of alliance to the North. I've never met her save at a distance," he confessed. "She was pretty but I don't know anything about her."

"Last time I spoke to her she was screaming at me... I don't think that is her, she had just been through quite the ordeal. I am surprised he has not offered her to my brother... not that you are not, you know," She smiled, "Ignore me. I think you dodged an arrow, really. Kalvin is going to have a miserable time with me"
