"Thank you! I'll be buying you an extra drink tonight, for paying attention." Dud says to the man with a smile and a pat on the shoulder. He then heads off towards the woods. Once he gets there he try's to see if he can pick up on any sort of tracks or direction of travel When he gets to the woods Dudley sees Ella sitting on a felled tree, a strange look on her face.

Dud walks over to Ella. He takes a seat next to her on the tree. "I'm sorry if that was a bit abrupt. I didn't mean to make you run off. I understand if you need time."

"Another man promised me a castle before," Ella responded, not looking up at him. "That was how I ended up a bandit."

"I don't know who that man is, but I am not like him." Dud says putting his arm around her and giving a comforting squeeze. "On my honor as a knight, and as long as I am Lord of Seagard, there is no one else I want to share that castle with." He smiled and rocked her side to side a bit, playfully. "Besides you've already taken me down once, how could I dare cross you?"

Ella still didn't look up, her eyes on the ground. "I... what am I supposed to do as a lady? I don't even know what comes with all of that."

Dud laughed, but not in a mocking way. "Well I'm still trying to learn how to be a Lord myself. So I couldn't tell you how being a lady works, but we can always figure out how to do this together."

Ella nodded, staying quiet for a long moment. "I wouldn't want a big wedding," She finally said "No big feasts for us, but food for the smallfolk."

"Yes," Ella stated. "But let me be alone for a while, please. I don't feel all to comfortable becoming part of the nobility." She gave a weak smile.

Dud stands up, but on the way he kisses her on the cheek. "Alright then. Don't think of it as such a change, think of it as just living in a larger home, with more means to help others." He says to her before he heads back to the main area.

////////////////////////////////
It was close to midnight, the stars, in their multitude, illuminated the dark skies. By a pond in the middle of the forest stood the naked shillouette of Lord Orson Banefort, after muttering a couple words he made his way into the waterbody until the water reached waist high; the cold was just slightly bothersome against his skin. He put his hands up in the air and started chanting a prayer that echoed across the woods.
--------------
The Black Man stalked across the woods after some game, an arrow firmly notched on his bow. A couple minutes in he started hearing his master's melodic chants, there was not much time left he had to bring something to the pound.

As he chants, a disembodied head materializes as minutes pass. "Banefor," he intones in his contrabass voice, dropping the T as is his habit. "You have received your gift; the return of your estates. Are you..ready to serve?" Balerion asked. The head is fifteen feet tall or so, handsome in a Valyrian way, but with features that shift every few seconds from male to female, from beautiful to godlike.

"I always am, my master." Said the old man, bowing his head to Lord Balerion.
"What does your eminence requires of me?"

"The sorcerers in Asshai guard my cursed tomb still, despite the receding of the Shadow. They have some substance that gives them great power that enables them to hold my minions at bay. I believe it comes from the west. Find it," he said. "And let me know what gives my enemies such strength."
