The Crowl see's the Northern Princess get up to meet the Ironborn and goes to see what all the fuss is with them by going up to them and standing behind her. Dudley comes strolling into the party, rather late it seems. He was thinking about not going but thought he should make an appearance. It's hard not to notice the angry group over by the ironborn, and once Dud notices that Princess Robyn is the one talking with him Dud being himself goes over to see what's wrong. Dud stands next to the Crowl and tries to figure out what's going on. "What are we fighting about now?" Dud whispers to the giant.

"Women are not things," Robyn said, in a calm tone, "She is a person, slavery is illegal in all the Kingdoms here, you took her from our lands, and now come here, with her, proving your guilt. You need to be held accountable for that." Harwyn's chuckle is the only response for nearly a minute. "This is not slavery, you can be thankful of that. She performs no labor, and won't work a minute of her life. If you intend to spurn Lord Mason's hospitality and ignite a war between our kingdoms, please do. If not, shut your mouth about things you don't understand and take your seat before things get complicated."

"There's lots of kinds of slavery, ignorant as you must be you can't be so blind as that. You took her from her home against her will for some kind of payless servitude. If it is not slavery, let her walk away." Robyn replied, not budging or cowing. "You are the one inciting. Baiting a whole Kingdom as you are,"

Prince Benjen makes his way over from where he was talking with Lord Frey, standing beside his sister. He says nothing, Robyn having made her point, but settles his eyes on the reaver.

"I am allowed to bring her where I please, if that causes you northern runts to get feisty then so be it. These traditions outdate your little kingdom, woman, and they'll likely outlive it as well. If she mattered so much, she wouldn't have been left unguarded."

"If she's not your slave, let her walk from your guards, if not," she paused and gave a short laugh, "then we have a problem, whether you see it as so or not."

OOC: TO be clear here, before it becomes a thing. No one here has weapons other than maybe a belt dagger; they are confiscated at the gates of the castle.

Maekar chuckles at the saltwife comment, but waits for Robyn to finish speaking. "If you think you took her fair and square, let us win her back." He stepped forward and loomed over the smaller man," Unless you're afraid of being vanquished by a saltwife."

"You are more than welcome to fight for her return; at a time when we are not sharing the food of a lord who wishes peace. If you northerners lack enough respect to violate the guest right, so be it. I intend to enjoy my stay here." With a smile, Harwyn turns and makes for his departure, guards and wife in tow.

Benjen held his hand up to Robyn and the others. "There is no point in debating with a brainless fool. If these peace talks are to lead to anything Lady Karstark will be returned to us. Let us not be baited."

Crowl rolls his eyes and goes to find another drink. Dissatisfied with the result.

Standing at the door, Lyonel frowned as he listened to the Prince. He doubted whether any peace talks would lead to the return of Lady Karstark. The only talks the Ironborn recognised were at the point of a sword.
"Leaving already?" he said to the Ironborn leader as the Ironborn approached the door. "Your flaunting of your reaving here won't be forgotten."

Harwyn smirks at Lyonel as he leaves. "Good, think of it for a very long time. I look forward to our next encounter."

"I'll not think on it for long. Our next encounter will be sooner than you think." retorted Lyonel with a wolfish smile. "Enjoy your stay here while you can. You may not enjoy the aftermath so much."
