Amelia Royce, dressed in a scandalously small silver dress and with enough jewellery on her to fill the Iron Bank, makes her way to the Greyjoy Prince's tent. Her shoes make her about six inches taller and her face is made up in an overdramatic and exotic way.

There is a curiously long wait before Amelia is granted entry, the guards posted taking long licentious looks at her. It would likely occur to Amelia that perhaps the Ironborn camp was not the wisest place for a young woman to walk around scantily clad. As she is allowed entry into the spacious royal tent, she finds Killion sitting on the edge of his bed wiping sleep from his eyes. She had apparently roused him from an afternoon nap. Ever since his flight to and from Yi Ti from Tyrosh, the reaver's sleep cycle had been a bit wonky. He looked at her form with the same eye his guardsmen had.
"Worse sights to wake up to." he remarked as informal greeting, perking up and flashing his sharkish smile as he suddenly felt wide awake.

Amelia had wandered into the Ironborn Camp by herself four years ago and it had been fine, sort of. Now that she had the ability to roast a man with the flick of her wrist there was no reason to fear the place. The stares she was used to as well and once inside, with a woken Greyjoy, she finally allowed herself a smile.
"It has been a while, hasn't it?"

"In the flesh? Aye. Not so long since you were in my god damned fireplace though." he stretched out, taking a swig from a skin of Arbor red before offering to her. "You look well. Married life suits you it seems."

Amelia shook her head, declining the wine. "It suits my husband less, seeing as some men burned down his palace in pursuit of me. It's such a lovely feeling always being hunted." She studied him for a moment. "How is Tyrosh?"

"I'll consider myself lucky I avoided that fate then. I quite like my palace." he laughed, taking the wine skin back with a shrug. "Tyrosh is well if a bit dull. Prefer to rule from a ship than a throne, truth be told."

"Must be prettier than your ugly rock of an island," Amelia commented, moving a strand of hair that she instinctively felt had fallen out of place. "Gulltown is fairing well." She cocked her head. "Having problems with a certain powder."

"It certainly has its charms." he replied easily, no visible reaction to the slight. Ruling had taught him some tact it seemed. "So I heard. Been attempting to track down its source and makeup myself."

"North," Amelia said as soon as Killion stopped speaking. "It's doing something strange. Faeron Targaryen and I looked into it..." She looked serious now, the mood for snarky jests gone. "It's diverting the power generated by the casting of magic to beyond the Wall."

"You'll have to forgive me, but is that something I should be concerned with?" he inquired, before pausing...remembering the report of Redwyne leading a group of dead men north of the Wall. His expression darkened. "For what purpose?"

"I don't know," Amelia responded, giving a shrug that made her breasts bounce up and down. "There is something beyond the Wall. Something dangerous. I plan on finding out." She studied him for a moment. "If you know anything, do let me know. I know you had some sorcerous assistance... before you killed his men and took his ships."

"Had one of your prince's lords disobeyed a direct order, I hope for his sake he would have stripped the man of his titles, keeps, and men." he replied, regarding Uhtred, taking no relish in it. "If I had tolerated insubordination, I would not be fit to lead."
"Have you tried the substance? The effects are rather...unique." he continued, considering her words for a moment, or more likely just watching her breasts bounce. "Well in the interest of the common good, I should mention an innocent we had at Frosthome a few months ago. We sent a few a few ships to investigate the source of the red powder. Not many returned and those that did told tales of Lord Redwyne leading an army of the dead. I would not have believed it had a trusted man not brought it to my attention."

"An army of the dead..." Amelia said, her paling visible even beneath the heavy bronzer. "Oriax... it has to be..." She muttered to herself for a moment, before returning slightly enlarged eyes to Killion. "I have, was addicted to it for most of the year. Faeron manufactured a cure, though his notes were burned. You took it? You cannot stop, can you?" She paused a moment. "Did it make you see a man... on a throne?"

"The fuck is an Oriax?" he asked, wondering what the hell these people on the mainland spent their time doing. "I just had a taste...a small one. An advisor counseled me that any more and I would have been unable to stop."
"I saw the Grey Man..." he answered, bewildered and disturbed, having assumed it was a hallucination rather than common among all users.
