"Perhaps I will, one day, but I fear it will be a long time until I travel to Dorne again," Benjen responded. "North is where our problems will lie, and east. I fear the next four years will be worse than the last four have been." He stopped and shook his head. "Sorry, I am all doom and gloom today."

"For what?" Meera said. "what disturbs you today?" She looks concerned. "Bryce is gone, and no one left on Westeros is half as dangerous." They see Hector, walking about with a small group of men and women. Meera looks at them. "Well, looks at our brother. Getting more social by the day."

"I don't know, just... nothing," Benjen says, before they spot Hector. "Social indeed..." He walked up to where his brother was with his posse, a curious look on his face.
"Who's this then? Can't be my brother Hector, he's a shy young boy!"

Hector raises his hands in excitement. "Ben! Meera! Damn me, it's been a long time!" He's five inches taller now, leaner and stronger, and he finally looks like a Stark. He hugs his sister and his brother. "It's awesome seeing all of you!" He looks at Meera's stomach. "Ben, see how Dorne's lemoncakes are ruining our sister here?" Meera smacks him with a laugh.

"Was that a joke?" Benjen asked his brother after hugging him. "What the hells has Kal Stark done with you, brother?" He grins. "It's good to see you. Tell me of the North, of your exploits!"

"The north is damn cold and empty," he said. "Emptier now, without all those bastards clogging up the trails," he said. "How did you survive working with Kalvin? The man is clearly out of his mind! He chased bandits for two days without sleeping once," Hector shook his head. "I almost killed him I was so tired and thought he was an Other!" he said. "Well....almost drew on him, anyway. I doubt it would end well for me."

Benjen laughed at that. "It was Kalvin's madness that forged me into what I am today, or at least partially. I was lucky enough to have old lord Rickon as a teacher." He cocked his head at his brother. "How are you with a sword? No, don't tell me, we're going to the yard."

Hector frowned. "Brother! There's attractive women here all seeking my attention, and for once I actually have something besides a name to offer! You whipping my ass is bringing me right back to square one!" Meera chuckled.
"Oh come on Hector, Ben is so old his sword is rusting right on his belt. I think you've got him this time."

Benjen chuckled. "Hector, if I beat your ass then the pretty ladies will just want to nurse you back to health." He turned to the ladies nearby. "Isn't that right?" He cuffed Hector's ear lightly. "Let's go!"

The ladies titter, and as Hector had guessed are far more interested in Ben, even if he is married. Hector rolls his eyes. "All right then, best get it over with." They head to the yard, Meera trailing behind.

When they arrived Benjen quickly slipped into some mail, taking a shield and a practice sword out and hefting it briefly. "Let's see what the terror of North has to offer then," He said to his brother with a grin.

Benjen lunges and Hector easily counters, faster and much stronger than he had ever been. He is still not Benjen, though, and he fights defensively and hopes Benjen makes some sort of error. For a minute or so it continues, and Hector nearly lands two blows before Ben takes a page from his own years of war and sweeps his feet out from under him. "Damn," Hector said. "Kalvin did say a swordfight doesn't need to be left to swords."

Benjen grins and helps his brother up. "You fight with your whole body and with your mind. Keep your eyes everywhere." He chucks the sword and shield aside and slaps Hector on the back. "You've a good instinct though and you're fast. Also, there's a girl over there who's making eyes at you."

"Well I'd prefer giving her something she'd be proud to see," Hector said, assuming a stance again. "That was just to work off the ale I had this morning."

Benjen stepped back with an impressed look on his face. "Well then, Hector," He said, taking up his arms again. "More aggressive now! Attack!"
