A half dozen ships are lost to storm and Lord Manderly's forces, but the northern fleet is still too damaged to really mount a full scale counterattack.

Their next destination is Ghaston Grey, far to the south and in waters practically theres. Murderers, traitors, and worse had been locked up here for as long as Harwyn could remember.
Knock knock.

Ghaston Grey is isolated and nearly empty now, the prison run by the deranged men it had called inmates. as the ships approach they see burning wooden buildings and stone ruins strewn about.

Harwyn calls for the two other commanders. Their initial plan had been to see if anybody valuable was inside, or recruits, but with the current state of affairs it seemed like there was little reason to bother.

Malik shrugs. "Seems unlikely."

Volmark paced the deck, looking upon the most feared prison in the Seven Kingdoms.
"Only one way to find out." he remarked. There were a dozen prisons on the mainland to house murderers are cutthroats. It was safe to say those locked up at Ghaston Grey were here because their captors feared what they could do...or what they knew. "They can't have much in the way of food or freshwater. We rarely get to be the saviors."

Harwyn scratches his beard as he thinks. "I'll go to shore with some of the men and see what they have to say. Hopefully they're in the mood for conversation after being here for so long."
Harwyn lands with three dozen men and whomever decides to join him, prepared for gunboat diplomacy.

Dagur remained with the boats, leaning on the railing and watching the meeting between the worst the Seven Hells had spit out in case Goodbrother signaled for aid.

Harwyn is greeted with crossbow bolts and laughter. "Go the fuck home!"

Harwyn, shield raised, laughs in return at the men. "We have the boats, the food, and the army. There are enough men here to drive you into the sea, or enough food to get you to Tyrosh. Join the Ironborn, take the heads of those that sent you here. Refuse, and we will drown every single one of you without a second thought."

The criminals decide to go ahead and board the ships. They are quite the assortment of characters.

Harwyn sends six men to see if anybody remained on the island or prison before returning to the ships. "Any of you have names?"

"We all got names," the men said. The six men never return.

Harwyn frowned. "Cute. What are your names, where are you from, and what were you in for?"

The dozens of men all call out names like Ilyn and Grenn and Horrys, and crimes range from rape to treason to murder to thievery to rape to murder to thievery to treason to sabotage to impersonating a septon and then back to murder.
