Darius's wild attack does most of its intended purpose, getting him a momentary one on one, and his sword slashes into the killer's cheek, breaking his jaw and giving him a permanent funny smile. He gives his back to the other circling predator, though, and a spear pierces him in the back, pain sprouting from his shoulder blade, and the man twists him to the ground with it. An involuntary cry of pain emerges from his lips as he falls to a knee. He is no stranger to dirty tricks himself, though; a back attack in his list of purely honorable and acceptable battle strategies, and he mentally goes deep into his list of dirty tricks to help him survive. Bracing himself, he rolls hard right, pulling the spear from the arrogant man's hands, throwing the loose sand into his eyes to blind him for a moment. He stumbles, nearly passing out from the pain, but the wounded princess puts a hand on the spear and pulls it loose, and he wings his second of eight daggers at the man left handed, hitting him in his broken jaw, knocking loose teeth. The unwounded opponent grins and comes for the pair with murder in his eyes.
Darius thinks quick again and digs even further into his laundry list of reprehensible tactics. He launches sand again to cuse a momentary distraction, then dives to the side to let the man attack the wounded princess. His foot lashes out and catches the killer right on the kneecap and he grins as he hears the satisfying snapping sund of the ligaments tearing. Then he draws a smiley face in the man's throat with his dagger.

Post by Lord Dudley Mudd on May 11, 2015 16:22:37 GMT -5
Dudley lay bleeding, exhausted, and dying if he doesn't get help soon. He looks around at the battle to see if all of his comrades made it. He then scans to make sure the princess survived, that was the whole point to his fight after all. Despite the sun coming up Dud's whole world seems to be getting darker. When the healers come they look more like shadows than real people. So many bandages seem to be used on the tall and almost fatally wounded knight. A small smile still creeps onto his face. If he is getting medical attention so far from the main battle it must mean the alliance won.

The princess is tended to and looks plenty alive. Of the group only Isabel Uller, the lovely Lady of Hellholt, is relatively unhurt, a few scrapes but nothing serious. She follows them back to the camp but rides out for Starfall with the rest of the Dornish.
