"Goes the same for me," Benjen agreed. "The good thing for now is that it seems Vhagus needs to focus on the east for now. Gives us time at least."

Naomi nods. "Time to prepare, I guess," she said quietly. "But not if we continue destroying each other." She hands some more bread out. "We have nothing to match his sorcery." she holds her head. "But thank you for freeing me, Prince Benjen. He is such a beast."

"Once Dayne has been dealt with I hope the fighting will end," Benjen responded. "It will cost us but perhaps... well, maybe we will find our own source of powerful sorcery. And no thanks needed, Princess Naomi."

"Can we even trust someone so mighty?" she asked. "Blood is the fuel of magic, Vhagus told me. It's...it's," she holds her head. "It's what he uses Vaes Dothrak for."

Benjen puts a comforting arm around Naomi. "Likely not... I had hoped Oriax would be of assistance but he proved rather unreliable. Amelia will have to do."

She doesn't really know who either of those people are, but she shrugs anyway. "Is my brother all right? Like, after the battle?"

"Aaron is fine, though he was worried for you. Your brother will be happy to see you again, once the Stormlands are under control."

Naomi nods. "They've been bled hard, like everywhere else. So much war." She looks about. "Is Eddard's Rest in better shape than this? I never knew much about the incident."

"It is, thankfully," Benjen responded with a nod. "Rebuilding it took more than a year but it is finally livable again. I fear it will take a lot longer to restore King's Landing to its former glory."

Naomi nods. "Thank you." She looks him over tip to toe. "I've heard such interesting stories about your exploits. Are any of them true?"

"All of them," Benjen responded with a grin. "Depends on what you've heard though. Have I fought a creature made of blood? Have I made battle against a goddess manifest? Have I fought undead creature and demons? Yes to all of those, but they almost seem like nothing after King's Landing."

"I haven't even heard of the blood creature. I thought that was another Stark...oh well. A goddess?" she looks at him with an amused eye. "One of the Seven, mm? If this is some convoluted brothel joke..."

Benjen gave a laugh. "Alas, no, though it would probably be better if it were just a joke. A Valyrian goddess; Meraxes. The goddess of magic."
