"Pay with what?" Karyl asks, "Regardless, there is hardly any lord who would pay to release brigands as those who have wandered off have become, chances are those that have been caught are already dead or being hung as we speak."

"Indeed," Savinia said. "But we have currency." She points to a band of men who are milling about a corner, with dozens of people being pushed and poked and prodded into a large cage. "I think some of our hosts would be most interested in an exchange."

"Ah yes, flesh for flesh is a good trade value. And what if our men are already dead?" He asks her, thinking he already knew the answer.

"I assume they aren't ALL dead," she said. "But seeing as this is a new development, I suppose that I can't blame lords for defending their sad little fiefdoms. Wouldn't be...queenly of me." She looks about. "After all the horror stories I hear of the dangers of these metal men and their lands...we walk through it and capture who and what we want. I am almost disappointed," she says. "This war down south must be something truly magical, to keep fathers and husbands and sons away from home." She stops the prisoners from going into the cage. "They work or they starve," she says. "Got no room in the Freehold for parasites."

"The war in the south isn't one but several wars all being fought by the same people. We have not yet had to deal with a force of these metal men, but any such battle would not go well. We can use them to work the fields, else-wise we will have no hope to feed our people." Karyl states staring at them seeing if any are nobility.

Most of them are, if lesser nobility. Savinia shrugs. "Farming works then. PLANT, assholes!" She shrieks.

Crowl watches as she shrieks to them, "I believe they need something to plant before the plant it." He points out pointedly.

"Fine, fine, get the gods damned seeds from the wagons, then fucking plant!" The scared people swarm the area. She smiles then. "How fun. Nobles are so easy to cow."

[Karyl Crowl]

Crowl watches as they plant. "Sitting here waiting for the crops to grow is one thing, once we are settled in our new homes and you are comfortable then I will be heading back down south to join the warfront." Crowl tells her "If you wish some of our men to join me all the better, but that is up to you."

"Take the Ice Rivermen," she says. "They are spoiling for war."

[Karyl Crowl]

"What about the First Man and his Thenns, they seem to be hungering for combat just as much as the Rivermen. And their ferocity would do wonders to give us some respect with the Kneelers." He suggests.

"If you think he'll listen to you," she said. "He won't. Take two giants; show Lord Stark why he needs fear us."

"I have methods of persuasion, that might prove beneficial when getting him to listen to me." Crowl answers.

"Then take him. I care not." Savinia shrugs. "Have fun."

"I always do, have fun sowing." He states as he walks off towards the Thenn encampment.
