"I will help you in whatever you decide. Unless its kidnapping the Stark girl, I do not want to make any of us an enemy of her older brother, if that is coming then yes, you." He states matter of factly. "To the west, overlooking a bay and surrounded by a forest that turns to swamp the further towards the Kingsroad you go, making it a highly defensible and desirable region to hold."

"Deserters are pillaging his lands," she said. "You think he will separate his treatment of us from the outlaws?" She purrs. "He can be angry all he wants. His sister clips his little mansword tight to his belly," she said. "But if this...king gives us these castles and the Moat, we are happy, aren't we giants?" The beasts nod.

"Achieving Moat Cailin would be a great treasure to anyone in the North. I will do what I can to help us get it." Crowl states, "First the castles, after that I will help you do whatever you wish for us to achieve."

"If they refuse, we take it," she says. "I am a queen, not some lapdog to be denied my treat."

"Then I will see that it is under your control when the times comes." Crowl states, "You will have your proof of the land soon enough." Crowl states as he looks for a piece of parchment someone around the tent to formulate the letter to the King, and send it off.

Crowl goes to the tent he seems to be sharing with Savinia, "Here is your proof of your castles and land now." He states showing her the letter. "As a gift of faith you have been given the entire lands west of the Neck." He says showing her the signature and the seal of the king.

Savinia shrugs. "Fine then. Where is this Moat?"

"To the south of here. I will help you take Moat Cailin as insurance for the land you are promised, for the land that you have been given does not include the Moat directly." He gets out. "But like I said, I have no problem with helping you take it if our lands are not to your liking." He states with a smile.

Crowl rides with them, wondering what the hell is going to happen.

Much of the host runs out of food, and pillaging begins as the foragers go out. Eventually they start to pass crucified wildlings along the Kingsroad, each with a handwritten litany of their crimes committed. Apparently Valerie Stark at ten knows how to deal with them better than anyone else.

Crowl laughs as the pass the fifth group of crucified wildlings, "Thats what happens when you run away and think the kneelers don't have a spine to push back." the lack of food doesn't bother Crowl as his appetite for unconventional meals is extreme. But to fix the hosts problem he sends out his own more civilized men to nearby castles asking them for small portions of their stores so the Wildlings can move along faster down south and don't have to resort to raiding to feed themselves and thus slowing the procession of the host.

The wildling host couldn't be supported by Winterfell. The giants alone consume ten thousand mens' diet. No lord will open gates within a weeks' ride of the force.

Crowl tries to assign rations to the host as they move south, he gives the main portion of the wheat and grain to the wildling main body, and he has his own men start cutting down the desecrated wildling bodies from the crosses and have them butchered away from the main host traveling back with just lumps of meat for the giants to eat. Everyone won't be able to eat to get filled but hopefully will have enough to not starve on the trek.
