Robyn looked at him for a long moment, "Well, I could come and help you," she suggested, "I have experience sneaking, and my work with a sword is not bad." She suggested, not sure if it was the best time to be thinking of helping the Vale with a full on war taking place south.

Walter almost chuckled until he saw she was serious. "Well, princess...um, you fight?" He sounds more curious than accusatory. Robyn is a bit of a rare specimen.

"Yes, I do," she said, narrowing her eyes, not appreciating him laughing at her. Though she was hardly unused to such a reaction. "Problem?"

"Not at all," he said. "Of course you're welcome to come along. I'm sorry. Youjust aren't how I pictured my first recruit."

"Why not? If you want sneaking people, great big lummoxing men are not exactly hitting the nail on the head," She said and looked round the Godswood, "But by all means, I have other things I can be doing, if I am not impressive enough for you,"

Walter drops to a knee. "I humbly beg forgiveeness, Princess. My tongue is vile and untamed. Your skills with sword and bow would be most welcome in my mad quest to scale Mount Arryn to bring justice to my renegade and treacherous uncle." It should sound mockking, but with the hint of embarassment on his face, it is more likely sincere.

Robyn is not won over by the sarcastic sounding sincere plea.
"Why is your uncle holding the Eyrie anyway?"

"Lord Grafton promised it to him for betraying us. Now I think he just knows surrender means his death, and all his men's. I'd let him starve, but I've heard the war needs the men we are tying up besieging it, and my younger brother and sister are prisoners there."

"How many men is it tying up?" She asked him, her look softening at the talk of his siblings.

"About four thousand. Not that many, but enough, especially after the apocalypse that was the first battle with the Reach," he said. "And also, the Vale is in anarchy, no lord Arryn protecting it, most of its best and brightest slain or away..." he looks away and collects his wits. "They need hope. The Eyrie restored could bring some back."

"I will still help you," Robyn said, "I... Cared s great deal about Lord Corbray, if I can help in any way to bring peace to his region... I will do."

Walter smiled and nodded. "Thank you princess." He chuckles sheepishly. "We might need one or two more. Or perhaps a dozen."

"You had better go find some then," she commented, looking at him, she wanted to be busy.
