"As you rightly said, in war one needs dangerous friends" she agreed with him, smiling still, but her eyes freezing, "Now let me guess... you are not in the market for any more?" she asked, rather thinking he was mocking her, unless it was some off Pentoshi mannerism.

"We never turn down real friends, to my knowledge," he said. "Come by the council tomorrow and I promise you shall be heard fairly. We're from Pentos; we have friends that hate each other all the time."

"Who said anything about hate?" Robyn asked, "Unless it was Vhagus"

"Perhaps aversion or dislike is a better word," he shrugs. "I am not the diplomat of the family, I fear. Are you the diplomat of your family?"

"I am here, am I not?" She asked, with a soft smile, leaving the money for his drink on the table as she stood "It has been a pleasure meeting you, Bralyn Pizzaru. I am very tired from my travels, but I do hope we meet again," she said amiably and gave him a curtsy before heading back upstairs, going to Gillian's room, asking Larrence to join them.
"We may have met encountered a bump in the road"

Gillian looks up from a book. "Oh, what is that? I am finally recovering. Was going to celebrate with sleep."

"Vhagus Blackfyre is here" She said shortly, not smiling now, "He has made a deal with Pentos."

"Fuck," Gillian says. "And he has much more to offer than us, too, much as it sucks to say." She looks to Robyn. "But perhaps we can still deal. His interests traditionally lay east, and Volantis is funding Bryce Dayne, after all. Maybe Pentos will play both sides." She shudders. "Trust me, they like doing that here."

Robyn narrowed her eyes in confusion at the shudder, "Wha..." She started to ask, then shook her head, getting back on target.
"And with their ships free to roam our waters... helping us one day, just to be in the perfect place to fuck us over the next, my father always said, an honest enemy is better than a dishonest ally"

"Perhaps," Gillian said. "Does this mean I have to ride that fucking strait already? I'd rather just..die." Larrance looks to the princess.
"We may not be safe here. If Vhagus wishes to hurt us, you are a perfect target."

"Vhagus should know the north is too bust to worry about a second missing Princess" Robyn said, looking at Larrence.
"Honest or not... we need more ships.. " robyn clicked her fingers, thinking, "But it would not be worth it... but we need more ships... The man I spoke to... Bralyn Pizzaru... said I would be fairly heard out, but then again it could be walking us into a trap."
Robyn would have gone into the city, to try and find out more information, but she did not speak the language, so anything she might overhear would be useless. "If Vhagus' enemies at present lie in the east, and he is not currently concerned with Westeros, could we not deal with him also?" she did not know an awful lot about Vhagus Blackfyre, only smoke and rumours.

Gillian shrugs. "Maybe he isn't a bad as they say. What's he done save be successful? and they have no need of a trap, my princess," she pointed out. "They could take us prisoner right now. Clearly that Pizzaru followed us."

Robyn did not know how that was clear, but didn't contest it. "I honestly do not know what we can offer them now, I was going to offer aid against Vhagus, now they certainly do not need that. I do not think my father would approve of my offering our men to defeat Vhagus' enemies in the east, just so he can come over and take us out later." The knot in her stomach grew tighter.

Gillian frowns. "Perhaps simple nonaggression, then. Or a common foe. Volantis and Bryce Dayne, maybe?"

"Do they have any reason to want rid of Bryce Dayne? He has not waged war on the east, and non aggression does not get us the ships we need, though by the look of it, there are none here to use anyway"
Robyn looked round to Larrence, "What do you think?"
