The Lord Commander has no problem turning his mount about to cover his uninjured leg, and his shield jams hard into Dudley's kneecap. He'll walk funny but fortunately, he's mounted right now.

Ser Dudley's cavalry presses around the fighters by way of the battle, and Ser Dudley smites the Lord Commander again. Truly he is earning his forgotten name on this field.

The flanks stabilize and archers take a heavy toll on the northmen. The battle is unbelievably brutal, and Lord Fillmore Corbray takes it upon himself to rampage through the ranks of the Rainbow Guard, wounding two but unable to break through.
